My second favorite F word.
Time to head downstairs for breakfast at the Shanghai Mansion 🥚🍳🥓 Breakfast selection can make a break a hotel experience! Personally, I hate walking around searching for local breakfast goodies every day (sometimes it’s fun!). Actually, I’ve been skipping breakfast to keep up with intermittent fasting. My digestion feels better eating just two meals a day. #intermittentfasting #breakfastbuffet #shanghaimansion
Day 3 of my self inflicted 10 days to get Christmas shit done so we can enjoy the festivities! Has been a success! Gift #3

is started and #5
has been figured out!! Also I somehow convinced my husband to hang the Christmas lights outside and I've almost completed this year's rules for our traditional family Christmas Trivia night. My favorite thing that happened today was I asked little bear to help me measure a large piece of fabric I found something on the ground where we were going to cut it out that I took to the kitchen to throw away as I walked away I told him ok were going to lay this out on the ground. When I came back in the room he was laying on his back on the ground next to the piece of fabric with a gaint smile on his face so proud he was helping by laying on the ground. I laid down next to him and said good job Bear your such a good helper! Moming is awesome when your bear is this cool!!

Happy with his experiment, blowing up a balloon by putting baking soda in it and then putting it over a bottle with vinegar. He was anxious to do it and even went to find baking soda last time we shopped. Love his curiosity and love hearing him happy at school. #scientist #montessorichild #mobilemintessori
I'm loving making these little 4.5x5.5" junk journals. 🙂 This one has 109 writing/drawing/gluing pages, 4 pocket pages, and various inserts I can't count as full pages because they're, like, cards and playing cards, plus some things in the pockets and a stamped, coffee-stained metal rim tag. 117 total pages (119, if you count the pink doily) with more loose items (cards, tickets, illustrations) tucked inside all the pockets for fun. With laminated covers. 😁 Will probably list on Etsy.

My view after a quick meditation yesterday. A day in Montessori school can be zen or bustling... depending on the time of day and how consistent the work cycle is allowed to be. Trying to find my own balance to stay quick on my feet and find compassion for everyone, including myself. #dailyzen #montessorimom #montessoriteacher #momentofcalm

From a couple weeks back. Getting his groove on. Wished it weren’t on a table, but loved the coordination and fun!
Getting used to the speed of full time school. Definitely a stark contrast to our lives the past six months. I am happy to know that our homeschooling has kept them learning and that the boys are capable of easing right into a class, both socially and academically. I do miss them. The high light is my day is seeing One of my boys at the glass to say hi to me and being able to give a big hug. we came for Shabbat to some friends’ house... what a blessing! We needed a break from our tiny, mobile home.

We see sunrise and sunset over here. Lighting our candles and having an outdoor cinema experience after a long day.
Morning again at casa Nissim.
Hey everyone, it’s been a while since we introduced ourselves. We are the Nissim family. The last two years we lived in Maui, Hawaii, and this year we are traveling around the world with our children. We started in Asia for nearly 5 months and now we are crossing the Mainland United States. We’ve been to so many states in the last month and a half and currently we’re in Florida, staying close to a Montessori school for the winter... taking a break from homeschooling to enjoy some prepared environments while our own enviro gets worked on. We bought an RV and are renovating it before heading West, or South, or both 😆.

Happy Chanukah everyone!! The weekend was full on and there was shopping to be made! The boys are learning so much in their new classes and Raphael has calmed down when he sees me in my class and has to stay with his teacher. It is exciting and challenging to be in the classroom again and there is so much to be done. This afternoon I used my checklists to go through the shelves and reorganize with help.

Exploration is the work of the child. Love this mixed work. This child figured out the size similarities between knobbed and knob-less cylinders! #montessorikids #montessoriactivity
Filling the short hours together in the evening before they get tired and cranky with me and each other. Got our library card and as many books and music cds and dvds as fit in Jonny’s back pack. I get glimpses of them at work with the transparent classroom app we use at school. Loving what they do in class. Environment makes all the difference! And access to materials. So glad for them that we can pause our travels and give them this... even if the transition is hard and Shai is gone. Raphael is having a hard time seeing me at school when I am not really available to him. 😩 I am told that when I leave the room, he moves on. #dramaformama #mylittleboy #startingschool #lifeontheroad
Saying goodbye to Aba tonight as He leaves for his trip to Thailand. He will have to travel 32 hours. Wishing him a safe journey to leave in peace and come back in one piece! This afternoon Raphael saw me in my classroom so he joined My Assistant and I for snack to come down. When Benji‘s class came in for aftercare, I could see that he was comfortable and having fun with his new friends. I didn’t see Jonny all day and he didn’t seem to mind staying at school long hours, hooray!
A boy's smile
I brought many pens from Korea to give kids who i'll meet along the way i go during my journey. Cuz i heard that they like Korea's stationery, as it has great quality. When i was in South India, i didnt really get a chance to give it to any kids, then here in Jodpur i happened to meet many kids on the street! They really liked it more than i expected, so had to go back to guest house to grab more pens that i have for the kids who didnt get. The kid in the pic didnt get it first, so i told him that i would come back with more pens, but when i came back to same spot, he wasnt there. So i started to find him then it didnt take a long time to see his beautiful smile again. 'Hi! Here this is for you!', i loved his smile so much.
