Started recipe testing for an exciting new project! And for a first attempt, these ‘Mocha Hazelnut truffle balls’ certainly went down a treat 👌🏻 Featuring @thatprotein

crispy coconut curls - a dreamy flavour sensation combo 😍
🔸80g of hazelnuts (toasted for 10 mins at 180 degrees Celsius, turning halfway through)
🔸150g of medjool dates (if you’re on the island I definitely recommend sourcing your dates and other yummy ingredients from @healthyindulgenceiow
) - weight is with stone removed
🔸30g of @thatprotein
Chirpy Chirpy Choca Mocha super protein
🔸1 tbsp of maple syrup
🔸30g of almond butter
🔸20g (1 packet) of @apesnacks
crispy coconut curls - salted chocolate ❤️
Once cooled blitz the hazelnuts in a blender until it forms a flour consistency. Add all remaining ingredients apart from the coconut curls. Blend until it forms a dough.
Roll mixture into approximately 12-14 evenly sized balls.
Break up the coconut curls into smaller pieces by placing in a bowl and crushing with the back of a rolling pin. Coat balls in the coconut by rolling. Store and serve directly from the fridge👌🏻
