So many people say they don’t have time to eat healthy or have time to prep food ..... either do I and this was the last thing I felt like doing only getting home from work and PTing at 9.45pm!! But I just got it done as I needed my food for the next three days, I like knowing what I am eating, what’s in it and hate buying take away crap and wasting money.
I normally do bulk lunches and freeze them and make my eggs, oats and tuna fresh for 3 days at a time. But I didn’t do enough on Saturday so quickly did it now. This took me like 40 minutes!
What we have here is over night oats, with peanut butter, protein and soy milk.
Egg muffins with spinach, mushroom, herbs and feta (relish and avo)
Baked chicken, spinach, quinoa and steamed veg.
Yoghurt (afternoon snack) I’ll probably have some nuts too.
Tuna, spinach, avo and feta salad and depending how hungry I am add some veggies. This is either a late after noon snack or dinner, if I’m not to hungry but if I am I’ll have an extra meal for dinner (usually protein and salad/veg)
During the day if I feel hungry I’ll snack on a banana, celery/cucumber or some dark chocolate☺️ I just go off how my body feels generally, but I always have my main meals sorted to cover the nutrients I feel I need. I mix it up cut carbs/fats add carbs/fat, depending how I feel but by choosing healthy options it helps to keep me full and energised.
