Well guys! I did it! After 8 GRUELING weeks of doing the #f45challenge , I met my goal!!!! . To refresh your memories, at the start of this challenge I was 216.0 pounds. And by the end of this 8 week challenge I wanted to be under 200 pounds....When I weighed in today I was 198.5!!!!! That’s a total of 17.5lbs lost! 6.6% of body fat lost! All while GAINING 2lbs of muscle and in total lost 20.8 lbs of body fat mass! It was a grueling 8 weeks of literal blood, sweat, and tears, but I’m over halfway to my end goal and I’m so excited to be so close to the “finish” line! . The first sheet are my numbers when I first started, the second sheet are my numbers at the beginning of challenge, and the final is the most recent one 😊 . In total I’ve lost 44.1 lbs, lost 13.2% of body fat, a total of 46.2 lbs of body fat mass, and I’ve gained 4 lbs of muscle! The last time I was under 200 pounds was in 7th grade, and I’m so excited to NEVER EVER, see that number again! . I’m super excited for the next challenge to start! Let’s have a little #tbt shall we?! Do you know what the difference between the picture on the left and the middle picture is?? Just one thing...in one I’m pregnant...and the other, I’m not. Same weight, same fluffy appearance, same plastered on smile. When I saw the middle picture this summer, I wanted to cry. But it was still another two months before I did something about. Why?? I really hope this is real life. My new lowest weigh in from Friday morning. . My implant bc has been throwing me through a loop every other week, and Menses are no joke. Getting bloated, higher risk of gastiria flair up, and the fact I'm so thirsty and hungry all the time while not being able to eat with certainty, has been just 😩🤯. . The lighting really is the best in the bathroom, sorry. Also, this is my "I've been in this bathroom too damn long" face hahaha. I hate taking selfies. Anyhow, I have an update of sorts... Last year, I weighed 216 pounds when starting T. I was floored when I got my blood work results back and saw that I wasn't even close to diabetic. I wish I could say that inspired me to take better care of myself. But instead, I took that information and did very bad things. I pretty much had given myself permission to just eat whatever crap whenever I wanted. For a myriad of reasons (wanting to get in better shape for whenever top surgery happens, always feeling sluggish, plus a cute guy [I know]), I decided to start making some changes. Years back, I weighed close to 270. I was scared of getting there again. I started slowly, checking the sugar content of nearly everything I ate. I ditched soda and fruit juice, favoring water, black coffee (which I love), and unsweetened tea (which I never liked but now having the sweetened version is weird). I thought since that went well, I would try the myfitnesspal app. It just went from there. Small, consistent changes is key for me. Today, I weigh 195 pounds. For the first time in over 10 years, I am under 200 pounds. Just under, but hey I'll take it.
