Spring has finally hit Denmark! Warmer weather makes Danish people go nuts and wear shorts and slippers when it’s 15 degrees celsius. And people, why are you wearing sunglasses inside? Is it just to annoy me and remind me of that I’m inside working? Or are you just stupid? Haha sorry, I have been raging over stupid customers today 😆
How is the weather where you are right now? Is it getting warmer or colder?
(I’m Scandinavian, I’m allowed to talk about the weather 24/7 😜)

Chill please. It’s hard for some people. Stop thinking about your problem and do what makes happy. At least for 1 minute👌🏽_ 📸 @tillie.deg
This is actually my fave photo from the whole trip. Not only because of the beautiful view but because of the journey that led to it. This included a missing reservation, a boat ride without slippers, loud traditional indonesian car music, a driver that spoke only one word of english and, a rocky drive through cliffs. It goes to show you that even after all the hardships, it will all be worth it.

Shock horror I strayed from the beach for a bit and headed inland to Ubud for a few days!
And of course you can hit up Ubud without visiting the famous rice terraces, which are about 30mins drive from town. 🌾
It can be slightly hit or miss how good you get them depending on where they are in the harvesting cycle and this visit was by far the most lush I’ve seen them 😍
This is the main section of the valley - where you can wander around maze of terraces.
If you head this way pack heaps of water as it gets REALLY hot and sun cream! 🌞
Are the rice terraces on your Bali bucket list?! 🇮🇩
i love sleep. i need sleep. i adore sleep. 😴
around two weeks ago, i couldn’t get out of bed before 11am. i needed at least 8-10 hours of sleep. 👎🏼
i didn’t have motivation, i wanted to sleep and rest. 😣😔
in Bali the #jacobxthatoneblondkid crew never got out of bed later than 5am. 🙈🙈
i loved it. i loved the fact that i’m pushing myself out of my comfort zone. i loved the fact that it was still dark outside. i loved every bit in it. .
i want to continue on that path. i want to catch every sunrise and sunset. i want to create epic content. i want to show the world what i’m really capable of. 🌅🙏🏻
watch me, cause i’m just getting started...🤙🏼
When do you wake up?🤔🤔
Officially done all my classes for the term , won't be misting those 🙊

After the morning hike, we got dropped off at Tampak Siring for a little holy purification. Apparently, you are supposed to go under each fountain in order to complete the process. I just did a few but Anna made the whole circuit. We had a few moments of solitude and then 400 people arrived. I got a little overwhelmed and had to exit through the gift shop.
Afterwards, we had a coffee tasting and tried the infamous Lowak coffe. It's an interesting coffee bean variety harvested from the feces of a wild mountain cat. Yum. Has a smidge of musky flavor to it. A little sour. Not worth the money. Lol. Still cheaper and better than starbucks tho. ☕
Last shot is of the Water Palace in Ubud, lovely walkway leading up to another temple, one of the many hundreds on this island. The pools around the walkway are filled with lotuses and lily pads.
Did some shopping, enjoyed a final traditional meal with Josh, and hit the sack. That was our last day in Ubud. Today, we went North and had a solid adventure. We are in Lovina now. Going diving tomorrow.
So tired tonight as I post this. What a long, long day. It started a 2am when we were picked up for a sunrise hike of Mt. Batur. Hiking in a long line of hundreds of hikers, we arrived just before dawn and were treated to a breathtaking view, followed by a mountainside breakfast courtesy of our guide. Such a stunning mountain. It actually erupted in 1996 and again in 2005 and still steams.p
We made some new friends, fellow Canadian @yulisato , then headed to some more temples and did some shopping in the evening. Preparing to say goodbye to our friend Josh as he heads to other islands in the Indonesian archipelago. #volcanoegg
