Kiki, do you love me?
We’ve got a different Kiki here, one that will NOT break your heart, but heal it. Kiki Cafe and Teahouse UW will be serving an assortment of delicious snacks, including Croissant Taiyaki, a fish shaped buttery puff pastry with red bean paste inside. We also have traditional Taiwanese pastry, a small round cake that is soft on the inside filled with layers of dough, super flaky. Kiki's Bakery will also be serving a variety of buns ranging from sweet to savory! However, if pastries are not your thing, we will also be selling rice ball red bean soup and sandwiches. -

Good morning University of Washington! We have some GREAT news. Our Online Property Registration form is back up and working correctly. Our amazing IT personnel have fixed the problem! 🙂 #uofwa
Our event would have been incomplete without this dish: Taiwanese Popcorn Chicken. It's bite-sized chicken, fried till juicy and tender and then coated with a seasoning mixture of basil, white pepper, and spices. Better yet, these will be made from scratch in the HUB kitchen, so you’ll get to try piping hot and fresh chicken all day long!

8 years ago on NYE, I watched my first bowl game from UW Medical Center, only 11 days after my transplant surgery. [...] We kicked off a new era of Husky football with a win. That night, I was discharged from the hospital to ring in the new year at home with my family and my new liver. 8️⃣♻️🎉
The 2010 Holiday Bowl was the first of what turned out to be 8 straight bowl game appearances for UW. 🙏🏽🏆Just as the Huskies were rebuilding the program back up, I was starting my new life, free of liver disease. [...] Now, 8 years later I rang in 2019 here in my new city as a UW alum watching my Dawgs take on Ohio State in the first Rose Bowl of my life. 🏟🌴
As an underdog, the only way out is to embody the attitude and commitment of a champion. From an 0-12 record to the Pac-12 championship and Rose Bowl, we refused to give up and we believed in ourselves when nobody else did. 💪🏽🏈

BACK TO SCHOOL || Winter Quarter, which also happens to be my last quarter before graduation, starts in a week. So expect a bunch more posts about organization, study habits, and campus fashion! Being a 30y/o college student comes with perks, the biggest being I am very aware of who I am, and have had life experiences that made the transition into a student run fairly smooth. And I can’t wait to share my tips and tricks with everyone!! Pictured is one of my favorite campus outfits; jeans jacket, zipped hoodie, plain white hat, and a T-shirt representing my school! I pair it with black leggings and white tennis shoes. Every item was affordable, utilizing sales and outlet malls! Double tap for details!
“I got interested in parasites because there’s this narrative circulating in the disease ecology world that the sky is falling. There are all these outbreaks happening around the world in a variety of wildlife species. The question is: are these outbreaks normal? Or are we just now noticing it, and tracking it, and recording it, and it’s been happening forever?” — @uw_safs
