I just finished my first Beachbody on Demand at home workout! I did the 21 Day Fix Upper Fix & it was amazing! I took my hair down so you can see just how much I sweated. I am loving this program already! I started it as soon as Rachel went down for her nap so I couldn't talk myself out of it. Going to try to post my workouts on here to hold myself accountable & maybe inspire others too. Thanks to my sister in law @heather_pc

Round 2: Day 53- Supposed to be Leg day... did upper fix instead.
I have had a boot for a while but after getting my MRI results for my why ankle has been hurting I found out I partially tore two ligaments and have an impingement as well. So since I know in my heart I am not supposed to do lower body... and it’s truly killing me because I am #obsessed
with this program and the results I have been getting, I am truly going to try to let it heal. That means leg day was out. I could have taken today as a rest day, but really, why? I have my upper body and core I can still work, so I subbed in some upper fix.
It was fun to see how I have progressed. I haven’t done a 21 day Fix workout in a very long time and my heavy weights are now 5lbs heavier and while it was challenging, it was super satisfying!

Today was a long day with work, church meeting, and then dog training! Plus Andrew is gone on a work trip so all puppy work is added to my plate. No excuses but Pushing play was falling off my radar. I knew it needed to be done and man am i glad i did! Gave the dogs bones with peanut butter to distract them and Sam ended up falling asleep, pushed play and kicked butt in the upper fix workout! #21dayfix #workoutbuddies #noexcuses #upperfix

-> clearly I’ve only been loosely following the program, but they are great 30 minute workouts and my focus right now is just to keep moving. P.S. the pile of laundry in the background simply doesn’t go away. I keep doing it and it keeps coming back!
Day 2, upper fix ✅ Had to pause the workout a couple times today, but it was OK! I finished it, even though I didn’t want to keep going. One day at a time.

I wouldn’t say it’s been easy to shift my mindset when it comes to working out. Because a lot of these exercises are still kicking my BUTT (side planks with a leg lift?!? WHAT?? 🤸♀️) and it’s hard to let go of bad habits AKA giving up after 4 or 5 days of trying something new. Thaaaat being said, I’m on week 2 day 2 of 21 Day Fix, and I feel SOOO good, even when I’m a bit sore, because I know I am putting my health first. Every day I feel a little stronger, every day my motivation grows because I know I can do more than I did the day before. And instead of waking up saying “Ugh, I have to work out today,” I wind up thinking, “I GET to work out today, and I WILL make time for it.” Because if there is time to scroll through Instagram, there is time to break a sweat and make myself feel 1000X better.
