"The heat of autumn
is different from the heat of summer.
One ripens apples, the other turns them to cider.
One is a dock you walk out on,
the other the spine of a thin swimming horse
and the river each day a full measure colder. "
The Heat of Autumn - Jane Hirshfield
Day 3 of potty training and we’re surviving. I think bear is starting to get it and it’s finally getting easier but holy wow, potty training is not for the faint of heart. I kind of think it’s harder than sleep training 😩 what’s work for you as far might time goes? I’ve been putting him in s pull up for naps and bed time, but how long do I do that?! Give me your best advice 🙏🏻
Every Fourth of July ster likes to go and pick out the most patriotic shirt Walmart has. Also, he finally got the weedwacker on a couple minutes after this video for all you who’s wondering.
I can't believe I live here. ❤😭
“It seems that all the autumn leaves are falling
I feel like you're the only reason for it
All the things you do, all the things you do, all the things you do” – Chris Brown feat. Kendrick Lamar
Willow never disappoints! Also saw four moose on this hike so it was extra special. Love where you live y’all!! #utahisrad
Taking a second to look back at one of the few sunsets we had the pleasure of viewing while visiting Iceland. We had been driving around in our little camper van for a couple of hours exploring the southern coastline and I believe this was at the end of our first official day. But with my expert stick shift driving abilities (I learned on this trip) we pulled off this small dirt road and took in the last remaining light of the day.
Just got back from @heehawfarms7
and I wanted to tell you all about it so you can decide if you want to go with your kiddos!
First of all it’s located in Pleasant Grove, UT. I met my cute SIL Hannah there!⠀
General admission was $9 per person 3 and up, that might seem like a lot but dang there was SO much to do! We didn’t even get through all of it! General admission covers pretty much everything except pony rides and the zip line which you purchase separately. But honestly there was so much to do and the kids won’t even notice if you don’t do those extra things!⠀
The coolest thing about this place was probably the slides! They were long, steep and so fun! There was a great variety of tube ones and wide plastic ones.⠀
The corn pit was HUGE and there were big orange buckets for the kids to Play in the corn with.⠀
There was a bunny holding/petting area + a whole separate petting zoo!⠀
They had a cute hayride that took you around the pumpkin patch and you could get off to pick a pumpkin out. They had a small kid hayride as well that we didn’t even make it to 😢 We were there for 3 hours too!⠀
Here’s a list of the other things they had:⠀
• games like corn hole & beanbag toss⠀
• tons of picture stands (where you put your face through the holes - what are those called?!)⠀
• a tractor and cow tire swings⠀
• a little play house⠀
• several food stands including 🍦 ⠀
• lots of places to sit and tons of picnic tables!⠀
• plan for at least 3 hours if not 4, you could easily spend all day here!⠀
• bring a stroller! Then you won’t have to carry all those jackets the kids shed. ⠀
• bring water and snacks for the kids! This will prolong the time you can spend here!⠀
• bring sunglasses and wear sunscreen! I wore sunscreen but forgot my sunglasses ☹️⠀
• go with a friend! Everything is better with friends! ⠀
If you’ve been, did I miss anything?
Chillin with amazing and lovely Ali up in a wintry wonderland 🌲🌲🌲
