Waking up before dawn in the shivering cold sometimes seems hard. Your fingers sting at the touch of the tent’s zipper, and they fumble trying to tie your shoelaces. You stand up in an unfamiliar landscape and find your balance on the strange claylike ground. But then you start walking. The fog of sleep fades with every step as you find your stride and realize, yes, this is real. This is today. You scramble over the unfamiliar landscape, firm the night before but now slick and soft after the surprising dampness of the desert night. You walk. And you walk. You’re heading for the rock formation you’ve waited years to see in the morning light, but then you turn around and see what you never knew you were looking for. You stand there for a few seconds before you raise the camera and hit the shutter, then you lower the camera again and just watch. You’re not cold anymore. The ground feels firm and familiar. You feel comfortable and comforted and lost and at home, all at the same time. You smile and start trying to retrace your steps back to your tent, knowing you’ll probably make a few wrong turns along the way, but knowing you won’t care. Because right now there’s only one thing you need to know for sure. Right now you feel alive.
Rocks in Hurricane and St. George are grippy! Thanks to Quentin from @ote_hurricane
for showing us his favorite hand made trails (yep, he designed them). There was a lot of rain so we rode the Boy Scout trails which, as you can see, are all rock! There are a few short #helmetcam
clips in my stories! What a beautiful day! I felt well enough to do a short ride and it was worth it!

I’m thinking it’s almost time for another Utah Adventure...
What happens in Utah, stays in Utah 😂 .
I actually did really well on our road trip, even got an intense workout in 😥 with one of our company's amazing Super trainers. So enjoying an In & Out hamburger 🍔 for the first time.... I don't feel guilty about that. It was YUMMY!
Creating a lifestyle and not a diet helps me enjoy a fun family outing and frees me from guilt or shame. Still on track with my health goals 💪 Today is a rest day as we travel back to Idaho and tomorrow I'll be kicking off our RECLAIM YOU accountability group 👊 We help one another find balance, stay focused and cheer each other along in the journey 💕
Thankful for a fun family weekend and the memories made. Thankful I've learned how to balance life with my food and fitness - yes YOU can too 💜. Thankful for In & Out 🍔💕 seriously, I've never had it until today. Who else is an In & Out fan? 🙋 I can't believe I don't have one in Idaho 😭
Wowee, we’re still so overwhelmed with gratitude to all the ladies and gents’ who showed up for our hoedown last month.
