You know you live in the GREATEST PLACE ON EARTH when you can’t decide on whether you should go to the Bryce Canyon, The Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon, or The Valley of Fire for a weekend adventure. Any suggestions????
Finn has always gone nuts over jump shots. So much so that we realized he associates the count of three with people jumping. Normally he wants nothing to do with the camera and will avoid having to be part of a picture but the second he hears “One…two…,” he comes shooting out of nowhere whining and jumping! I have been using this to my advantage not only to get more pictures with him but at home when he is being lazy. If I want him to come all I have to do is start counting…. “One…” - all of the sudden I hear him scurrying as quick as he can to get to me. Sometimes when I do this he looks completely let down at the fact there is no jumping going on so I start jumping around like an idiot, just for fun! That’s normal, right? 😂 — #LiveLifeOffLeash#campingwithdogs#rescuedogsrock#roamfree#utahrocks#gopropets#llbeanpets#edsftg

National park advice: Walk the extra steps, start early. Do the research but don’t do too much research. Read every exhibit in the visitor center. Leave leftover tacos in the car so they’re waiting for you post-hike. Drive down the service roads. Rent a car with four wheel drive, even if you don’t figure out how to turn it on until the last day (oops). Go to the shit you’ve seen a million times on Instagram because I promise you no person has ever been able to accurately translate the grandeur of it all into a photo.
Peace through Pencils...It’s really a #1 item students need these days. Our boys included. I absolutely love providing school supplies throughout the year for our boys. Everything about it brings me back to my days in school. Life has a beautiful way in steering us in different directions though. The direction I’m going, is the opportunity to share the need of a pencil to my students. I was able speak into my students about the power of positivity and preparedness this morning...
