I was a bit surprised by my own initial reaction to these elaborate facial markings. I was shocked, but more so by how mesmerizing and powerful these women appeared, and less by the western mentality of facial tattoos being taboo. The astonishing facial inkings made me reconsider my perception of beauty, a theme I find common in my travels to remote areas as I discover the very many different ways to live a life.

Getting a break from regular routines can be so helpful in coming back refreshed & ready than ever actually for those goals .
MY BIGGEST HOLIDAY SUGGESTION?!🙋🏼♀️🙋🏼♀️ So yes balance is important & Holidays yes absolutely, but remember I always try to steer my clients away from old patterns of that ALL OR NOTHING mentality . Eg when it comes to eating really well at home VS then it’s shit fight for 3 weeks, saying yes to errything.. leaving you feeling maybe a little miserable when you get back . Let’s not do this 🙅🏼♀️ Instead remember you can still really enjoy yourself without setting your goals backwards in a big way [ depending what those goals are of course ] . So pick & choose! .
😍HOLIDAY TIPS 😍 .
• If you can walk somewhere versus transport, explore & boost your NEAT 🏃🏼♀️ [ incidental exercise you may not get at your sedentary job ] • choose alcohol meals or alcohol days, not lunch & dinner daily or limit tabs on how many wines you can have for the week & choose when you have them . Remember it’s not essential for a good time & can jump your calories crazy especially cocktails at 250-500 a pop 🍹• maybe have a late breakfast combined as a brunch • minimise snacks & save calories for main meals eating out • choose entree or dessert not both • have active days where you do a hike, gym, swim or cycle 🙌🏽 HOPE THIS HELPS?! 🏖
It could save you 200-500 CALORIES a day of what you would have otherwise done which over a week is 1400-3500 CALORIES huge difference in jumping up the kgs on holidays!☝🏽 Most people don’t realise just how easy it is to make a few switches that make all the difference . Over a few weeks this could be the difference with jumping on 1.5 vs 3-5 kilos for people with goals . Depending how long too! Over a 6-8 week period I know some peeps can jump on 8kilos! This could make for an annoying grind when you get back😅 . Or instead You can still have a WONDERFUL trip without ditching your goals entirely ! There are sooo many amazing things about holidays ✨
