Vanilla Butter Cookies and Jam Cookie Rolls!
When in doubt, bake a Cookie! And never stop experimenting with your recipes, you never know what your oven has in bag for you! 🍪
INGREDIENTS: All your ingredients should be at room temperature....1cup all purpose flour, 2tbsp corn flour, 1/3 cup butter (make it 1/2cup if you want buttery cookies), 1/2cup sugar, 1tsp vanilla essence, 1-2 tbsp of milk.
Step1️⃣: Sieve together all purpose flour and corn flour and keep them aside.
Step2️⃣: Grab another bowl and add softened room temperature butter into it and beat it for 1-2 minutes. (You can use anything- either the electric beater or just mix it using a spatula)
Step3️⃣: Now, add sugar and vanilla essence to the butter and beat it again, till it forma a nice smooth paste.
Step4️⃣: Now, add your sieved flour into the butter-sugar paste, half at a time. Beat the entire mixture nicely.
Step5️⃣: At this stage, your mixture will appear to be little dry and crumbly. So, add 1tbsp of milk and then mix well. Add another tbsp of milk if you need. (I added 2tbsp of milk)
Step5️⃣: Now transfer your smooth cookie dough into a piping bag and using a star nozzle start making roses on a greased plate or on butter paper. You can also use a cookie cutter or just roll it out with your hands!
Step6️⃣: Bake these at 160C for 10 minutes and then at 180C for 12-13 min in a preheated MICROWAVE oven, till they are nice golden brown in color!
Step7️⃣: Once done, take them out, let them cool to room temperature and then eat them all!!
P.S. you can also cut put strips of the dough, layer them with jam and then make small cookie rolls out of them!
