Ahh Fall is here!! Which means we will now be bombarded with pumpkin spice on everything 🍁🍂🍃🎃 did you know that most pumpkin spice used commercially (Starbucks, sorry ladies) isn’t actually pumpkin spice at all, it’s artificially made in a lab with chemicals to resemble a similar taste to pumpkin spice... so be careful how much pumpkin you consume this season, our bodies are not meant to digest artificial things properly... expect pie, nothing will stop me from pumpkin pie 😂

girl, I am a huge fan of pumpkin and grew up LOVING pumpkin pie to my core. Since I can’t eat all the dairy, gluten, and choose not to partake in consuming such processed food, I have had to learn how to recreate my favorite fall treat myself! @alyssazaldivar
and I spent our evening testing out this pumpkin pie bar recipe from @powerhungrycamilla
and they are SOOOOOO PERFECT. These vegan, gluten free, and nut free bars taste just like pumpkin pie! They are sweet (but not too sweet), chewy, and deliciously pumkpkiny! We replaced the coconut flour in the recipe for gluten free flour to avoid Alyssa’s nut allergy; however, we both agreed that the coconut flour would have made them richer. So go for your coconut flour or use another flour with more flavor than gluten free all purpose. We also added @enjoylifefoods
chocolate chips WHICH CHANGED THE WHOLE GAME. Chocolate and pumpkin together is perfection! I can’t wait to eat some after I teach yoga under beautiful oak trees at @ediexplorers
