Seitlinge in veganer Butter für 5 min anbraten, danach das Nudelwasser hinzufügen, 50ml Pflanzensahne ( ich habe heute Sojasahne benutzt) beimengen und bis zur gewünschten Konsistenz köcheln lassen. Gone are the days of the food group rainbow, food pyramid and calling plant-based food “alternatives”. We are so lucky to be living in this progressing country which is asking its citizens to choose beans and nuts over beef, poultry, and fish...nevermind bacon. And dairy, that’s not even a food group anymore. Not only is the emphasis on plant-foods, but there is the push for healthy habits like ✅Mindfulness (take your time and listen to when you are full) ✅Cook more often (plan, shop, prep) ✅Enjoy Your food (why not learn about other cultures while you're at it?) ✅Eat with others (enjoy their company) Choose water as your drink. A focus on proper hydration and not including juice or milk is HUGE! What about healthy swaps? This is what they wrote in the document: Try these swaps to replace saturated fat with healthy fats: 🥑On your toast, replace cream cheese with nut butter. 🥑For dipping, try making your own hummus or tzatziki to replace spinach or artichoke dip 🥑On bread or rolls, replace butter with olive oil flavoured with balsamic vinegar. 🥑When you are cooking, replace shortening, lard or hard margarine with oils with healthy fats such as canola, olive and soybean. We are so glad we didn’t see choose low fat cream cheese. This means that there is a big understanding of what needs to be done. So we’ll take these swaps as a win. I love to cook. It's my passion. That day I was cooking myself a lunch. I ate it. After finishing, I realized something was different on my dish. There wasn't any meat on it. Wtf just happend? And than booooooooom. Shift in my consciousness. Visions. Messages. All at the same time. And than everything was perfectly clear. Why I became #vegan ? Guys, this is not just story: "Lets be a rainbow kids and save a planet and animals". This is more beyond that. I became vegan cause I appriciate every living being on Mother Gaia. We are all One. We are all here cause this planet can't live without us and we can't live without it. My vegan story is all about appreciating what God has sent here. Love is beyond my vegan story. Compassion is beyond my vegan story. Direct access to God's consciousness is beyond my vegan story. I was bullied for last few months on my job because of this. But You know what? // LUNCH // • • • • • These are the same spicy noodles I've been eating for the last 3 days. If I'm not posting food I'm one of three things: in my feelings 😂🤣😂, eating the same damn thing or eating on the go(junk or snack foods, always vegan tho🤷🏾‍♀️). Anywho these noodles are sooooooooo good!! I used the butter chicken seasoning that I got at Costco and a thick cashew milk that I make myself(1 cup raw cashews+3/4- 1 cup of water) I added a few tablespoons of tomato paste and voila, delicious spicy noodles. Instant Pot “Roast” with Carrots, Potatoes and Gravy: In the winter months roast with carrots and potatoes is a comfort dish. So I wanted to recreate it. I used jackfruit because of it’s pulled meat look to it. . I put about 1 and 1/2 cups of veggie broth in my pressure cooker and added baby carrots and cut red potatoes. I lightly seasoned with garlic and onion powder and salt & pepper. (Don’t add too much seasoning with a pressure cooker, either go very light or just leave it out till after it’s done cooking) . Then I took a metal steamer basket that is adjustable and set it on top of the veggies and put my drained and rinsed jackfruit in the basket (I used 2 cans). I seasoned the jackfruit with the same seasonings as the veggies and set my pressure cooker on high for 15 mins. After it was done, I turned the vent knob to let the pressure out, then I removed the steamer basket and dumped the jackfruit in a baking dish and mashed it up with a potato masher to create the pulled meat look. . I used a slotted spoon and scooped out the veggies and set them aside. . I turned my pressure cooker to the sauté option to keep the leftover broth hot, I did have to add a more broth to make gravy with it. I chopped up an onion and added it to the hot broth. I whisked the broth and slowly added corn starch while I whisked. I didn’t measure the amount of corn starch, I put maybe about 1/4 cup in it, add more if needed. If it’s too thick just add more liquid to it. After the gravy was done I dished everything on plates and poured the gravy over top. My family loved this meal.🌱 Have a great Wednesday!

I know I come from a nutrition based background but let’s talk fitness real quick! This has been on my mind a lot lately. I think a lot of us struggle with our relationship with exercise. Have you ever asked yourself why you’re working out? If it’s soley to lose weight, because you’re comparing yourself to others, or to work off food you’ve consumed, you are limiting yourself entirely. We should want to exercise because our bodies are made to move. Because it promotes optimal health. Because it makes us FEEL good. Exercise should never be dreaded or miserable. I used to push myself extremely hard. I would workout at least 6x per week & sometimes twice a day. I suffered a TON of health issues because of this - including Ammenhorrea. It wasn’t until I realized that listening to my body, & fixing my relationship with exercise, that I found balance. For me personally, rest days were non existent. I would allow myself one. But sometimes, our bodies need a damn break. & if you’re plateauing, it could definitely be because your not allowing your body optimal recovery time. Sunday is usually always my rest day. But yesterday, I just wasn’t feeling it. I ended up not working out in any way. Guess what? This morning I woke up & I LOOK THE SAME. I’m the same Dani. So please Appreciate your body & realize that missing 1 workout, or 5 isn’t going to make or break your progress. 💕 .. Now on to these amazing slices of heaven 🙃 raw vegan strawberries & cream lemonade cheesecake! I recently went to a local vegan restaurant & had the yummiest raw cheesecake. It completely inspired me to try & make my own & im so so happy how it turned out. And to follow my recent trends, I curated it specifically to include nourishing ingredients that are specifically beneficial!
