I’ve been getting a lot of questions in my Insta stories recently about my Coconut Oil Coffee ☕️🥥
So I’m sharing this again SWIPE ➡️
The Two main reasons I drink Coconut Oil Coffee ☕️
1. INCREASED ENERGY
Coffee usually just make you feel happier, and due to its stimulating properties, the caffeine gives you a pretty fast energy boost, while also creates a mental stimulation by blocking inhibitory neurotransmitters.
When you add in Coconut oil, it provides a boost of energy in a different way.
Coconut Oil is made up of MCT’s (Medium Chain Triglycerides), which are more rapidly absorbed by the body and are quickly metabolized as fuel (not stored as fat).
2. ASSISTS IN WEIGHT LOSS
For the most part, weight loss is all about ENERGY BALANCE. Calories in, calories out.
So if we can reduce our appetite, we can take in fewer calories, which is the effect that both coffee and coconut oil can have. It’ll assist with weight loss due to its satiating fat and consuming the oil helps to decrease appetite.
I do my own form of Intermittent Fasting. No solid food until around 12pm, only having Coconut oil coffee in the morning. This a great way for the body to use its energy reserves most effectively and speeds up the breakdown of needless fat reserves.
So coconut oil can promote fat burning (increases “calories out”) while also reducing our appetite (reduces “calories in”). Wanna Try?

1. Pour black coffee in blender.

“The workout I did for 4 weeks didn’t work!!”😞
I used to look at the guy who advertised it and then looked at me and then looked at the guy again and be pissed.
Well with that attitude I wasn’t going to look like him.
I soon realized that if I want that guys body then I would seriously have to buckle down and exercise 6 times a week and count my macros each and every day.
So this is what I did
I sat down and broke down what my ACTUAL GOALS were and created a sustainable program that helped me achieve those goals. I worked out 5-6 days a week and ate clean. Simple as that.
If I was to compare his journey to mine, we both crushed it!! But in different ways.
So take pictures, see how your clothes feel, listen to what people tell you how far you’ve come. That’s YOUR journey, that’s YOUR progress, work hard for it!!

Made the thickest oats ever for breakfast the other day - soaked them overnight with maca powder, soya milk, flax & chia seeds, chopped pecans, frozen blueberries and raisins, then cooked them up in the morning with more milk/water and topped with more pecans which I toasted in a pan for a couple mins, more frozen blueberries and maple syrup post-photo🥣
Went to visit a really dear friend in hospital yesterday who is having a very scary time with her health right now, which was lovely but also so emotional and shocking to see someone I care about so weak and confused.
The last time I visited anyone in a hospital was quite a long time ago, so I had also completely forgotten what a different world it is. It hit me so hard how precious your health and freedom is, in terms of literally having the good fortune of a body which can move and walk wherever you want it to and wash itself and go to the toilet and put clothes on without assistance, though this health is fragile and sometimes unexpected things happen, which is scary but often uncontrollable. There were people (elderly) on her ward who may never experience this freedom ever again😞
It really made everything pale into insignificance! Like I’m complaining about having to cycle to babysitting after dance today, meaning I won’t get home until late before work early tomorrow, but at least I CAN and have the option to go where I want and work and I’m not literally stuck in bed hooked up to a machine!!!
Anyway sorry for the ramble, just some food for thought x

When you are looking for on-the-go energy, protein balls and energy balls are now all the rage. With our recipe below you can make your own delicious snacks that you can take with you and enjoy just about anywhere.
The ingredients list below should provide enough to make 8-10 protein balls and better still, there is no cooking required.
Ingredients required to make delicious chocolate and peanut butter protein balls
1 scoop of Chocolate Vegan Complete Protein
50g/½ cup rolled oats
3 tbsp peanut butter
½ tbsp raw cacao powder
1 tbsp flaxseed
1 tbsp chia seed
1 tbsp agave sweetener or maple syrup
1-2 tbsp non-dairy milk
Place all of the ingredients into a bowl, then mix together really well.
You may need to add a little more non-dairy milk if your choice of peanut butter is a little dry - you should be able to easily squeeze the mixture into balls.
Try to divide the mixture into equal amounts to make around 8-10 balls.
Take each amount and slowly roll it around in your hands until you have created the size/shape you prefer.
Store in an airtight container for 5-7 days preferably in the fridge, until ready to use
Depending upon your choice of ingredients, each batch should provide in excess of 50g of vegan protein and around 600-700 calories (PLEASE NOTE: This can vary dramatically if you choose higher calorie ingredients).

What I eat in the morning dictates my entire day. I wish I could say that I have more self discipline than this but I don’t. I’m a girl who likes salty treats with a glass of red. 🤷🏻♀️ However, when I start my day with this smoothie, my mindset shifts and remains focused on health throughout the entire day.
Every morning after hydrating, I make my protein smoothie. This is my recipe and I swear by it! I’m satisfied for the entire morning, I know what it is doing for my health and it’s great before a workout.
Here’s the recipe for you:
- 2 scoops of Arbonne Vegan Protein - 1 scoop of Arbonne Fibre
- 1 scoop of collagen
- 1 tsp of Maca
- 1 tsp of Tumeric
- 1/4 avocado
- 1 bowl of organic baby spinach. - 1 tbsp of almond butter
This is a superfood, high protein, full of minerals and vitamins smoothie. It’s life changing and all 🌱 based. No hormones. No artificial sweeteners. No artificial flavours. All natural, raw, veggie goodness. Get ready for energy, satisfaction and over all good feels 😊
This is by far one of my new favorite recipes!
2 cauliflower heads
Oat flour (ground up raw oats)
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
Cut cauliflower into large bite size florets.
Juice and zest all 5 oranges.
In a cup, mix 4 tbsp of tehina, 1/3 cup of orange juice, 1 tbsp maple syrup, 1 tbsp orange zest, 1 tsp ginger powder, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp chili flakes and salt.
Dip cauliflower into the wet mixture and sprinkle the top of the floret with oat flour.
Place cauliflower in one even layer on a pan over parchiament paper.
Bake for 30-35 minutes.
While the cauliflower is roasting, whisk together the remainder orange juice, orange zest, 1/3 cup of maple syrup, 1 tsp ginger powder, 1 tsp garlic powder and 1 tsp chili flakes.
Put mixture in a pan over a high flame and let the mixture reduce for ten minutes into a syrup like consistency.
Once the cauliflower is out of the oven (the cauliflower will still taste bland at this point so don't panic), add the cauliflower to the sauce and stir to coat well.
Sprinkle with green onions and serve over brown rice.

It truly feels like I am living in a winter wonderland this morning.
Here in Toronto we had our first lasting snowfall of the season. The city is covered by a blanket of white fluff, and snowflakes as big as cotton balls are still dancing down from the sky.
I spent my morning snuggled up with a warm cup of coffee, a cozy blanket, and a book (currently rereading Osho’s Love Letters To Life), and watched the snow continue to fall outside my bedroom window.
There is something so peaceful about snow, so pure. The first snowfall never fails to bring about a nostalgic sense of calm. My dad and pulled out our winter boots from the depths of the closet and shovelled the driveway together like we did when I was a kid. It was a perfectly Canadian morning.

1 1/4 cup almond flour + 2 scoops @profiprohealth
protein boost + 1/2 tsp salt + 1tbsp pumpkin pie spice + 3 tbsp tapioca flour + 1/4 cup ground chia + 1 tsp baking soda
In another bowl mix:
1/3 cup coconut oil + 1 tsp apple cider vinegar + 2 flax eggs
Mix wet & dry ingredients together and add your favourite seeds & dried fruit, then bake at 350 for 25 minutes!

Having a good mix of nutrients is the best way to ensure your body is fuelled to the maximum. -
Steer away from supplements or meal replacements. Social media is filled up with adverts trying to sell you man made nonsense that you just don’t need! -
No food magically burns 🔥 FAT! -
No BCAA supplement actually does anything to protect your muscles! 👎 -
Stop ✋ wasting your time and money on this relentless poppy cock! -
Consistently under taking physical activity! ✅ -
Fruits, vegetables, meats, fish or beans and pulses, wholesome and unrefined and unprocessed foods are what you need! ✅ -
Plenty of rest & sleep! 💤 -
Keep hydrated! 💦 -
I use whey protein or vegan protein powder if real food is not available or I am super busy! 🏃♂️ -
Often I’ll make a shake from oats with whey and making some fruit! 🍉 -
I also do add protein powder to some meal to top my protein up but that’s it! -
NOT as a meal replacement! -
Real food all the way! -
Have a diet with lots of variety, plan time to prepare, make sure you think ahead and shop and manage your time so you get short regular breaks as best you can to avoid turning to fast foods which are often processed and full of sugar and salt! -
