In fact, what spectators see is not a normal, healthy bull but a weakened, half-blinded and mentally destroyed version, whose chances of harming his tormentors is virtually nil.
The bull has wet newspapers stuffed into his ears; vaseline rubbed into his eyes to blur his vision; cotton stuffed up his nostrils to cut off his respiration, a needle stuck into his genitals, a strong caustic solution rubbed onto his legs to throw him off balance and keep him from lying down on the ground, drugs to pep him up or slow him down and strong laxatives to further incapacitate him.
He is kept in a dark box for a couple of days before he faces the ring to disorientate him. When he is let out of the box, he runs desperately towards the light at the end of the tunnel. He thinks that at last his suffering is over and he is being set free - instead, he runs into the bullring to face his killers and a jeering mob.
During the fight, he gets stabbed all over with harpoons and desperately tries to defend himself and look for an escape route. At the end, he gets brutally stabbed with a sword and has his tail and ears carved off as a ‘trophy’ often while still conscious. #StopBullFighting #BanBullFighting

I wanted to share one of my favorite cozy treats and lattes with you in case you were looking for a healthy yet sweet pick-me-up 😋 save these recipes and be sure to let me know if you try them!
Turmeric lattes or ~golden milk~ are one of my favorites - it’s loaded with anti-inflammatory ingredients and antioxidants which is really good if you have digestive issues😅 it’s also super cozy and tasty - I like to drink it in the evenings or early in the morning if I have time to relax on my couch for a bit 😋
Recipe: 1 cup of almond milk, 1 tsp (turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, honey) I usually will boil it in a pot so it mixes together really well •
The brownies are an amazing pair with the golden milk and they’re also guilt-free 😋 just checkout why below 👇🏾
Recipe: 1-15 oz can black beans, rinsed and drained, 3 eggs or egg substitute if vegan, 2 tbsp coconut oil, ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder, ½ tsp baking powder, 1 tsp vanilla extract, ½ cup brown sugar, ½ cup dairy free chocolate chips, 1 cup zucchini, grated and patted dry
See steps below: 1 Preheat oven to 350F
2 Spray an 8 x 8 brownie pan with cooking spray; set a side.
3 In a food processor add all the ingredients, except chocolate chips and zucchini. Process until smooth.
4 Fold in chocolate chips and zucchini
5 Pour batter into pan and bake for 30 - 35 minutes, insert a toothpick, if it comes out clean, brownies are done.

🍏APPLE AND BERRY CRUMBLE 🍎⠀⠀
When I am craving something sweet, but I do not have much time, especially in the season of early apples and all kinds of berries, I usually make an apple and berry crumble. Its dairy and egg-free, and can be made gluten free as well.
That’s you’ll need for the bottom layer:
🍏 1-2 big apples (deseeded and cut into cubes)
🍏 couple cups of your favourite berries (I had a combination of red and black currants and some gooseberries)
🍏 about 4 tsp of coconut sugar (or your favourite sweetener)
🍏 ½ tsp of cinnamon
🍏 ½ tsp of vanilla extract ⠀
For the top layer:⠀
🍏 30gr of large oats 🍏 30gr of fine oats 🍏 30gr of puffed amaranth (or puffed rice or spelt)
🍏 30gr of almond flakes 🍏 50gr of almond flour 🍏 50gr of sunflower seeds
🍏 4-6 tsp of coconut sugar (or syrup)
🍏 4 tbsp of nut butter (I had a mix of almond and walnut butters)
🍏 4 tbsp of melted coconut oil
🍏 ½ tsp of cinnamon ⠀
How to make it:⠀
Preheat the oven to 170C. ⠀
Mix apples, berries, sugar and cinnamon, and put it into the greased baking form.
In the big bowl mix all dry ingredients for the top layer and then gradually mix in the coconut oil and the nut butter. Stir very well. The mix should be moist and a bit sticky. Spread it on top of the apple and berry mix. ⠀
Bake for about 20 mins until the top layer becomes golden brown.⠀ Serve with whipped coconut cream or vegan ice-cream.
The beauty of this recipe is that you can easily experiment with the flavor by adding any of your favorite nuts, flakes, coconut butter and berries. ⠀

Un gâteau pour l’anniversaire de mon beau-père - Vegan - Sans gluten - Sans soja
- Sans amande
- Sans sucre raffiné
Pour respecter les restrictions alimentaires de chacun ?!
Challenge accepted !
Il vous faudra :
- 100g de farine de riz complet
- 50g de farine de lupin (ou pois chiche)
- 50g de farine de maïs 🌽 - 200g de lait de noisettes (maison ici) 🌰
- Environ 100g d’okara de noisettes 🌰 (si vous n’avez pas fait votre lait juste avant, 100g de poudre de noisette et un peu plus de liquide devrait faire l’affaire)
- 100g de sucre de coco 🥥
- 75g d’huile de coco 🥥
- 50g de cacao 🍫
- 1 pincée de sel
- 1 sachet de levure chimique
- 1 càs de vinaigre de cidre
- 2 belles poignées de noix de pecan torréfiées à la poêle - Une demi tablette de chocolat dessert concassée 🍫
Mélanger tous les ingrédients (sauf facultatifs) ensemble pour obtenir une belle pâte.
Incorporer les noix de pecan et les chunks de chocolat en dernier (en garder pour la deco)
Huiler et fariner un moule, y verser la pâte puis ajouter des noix de pecan et des chunks en decoration.
Enfourner pour 25 minutes à 180 degrés.
Bon appétit !

2 tbs of grape seed oil
4 cloves of minced garlic
1 1/2 cups of chopped yellow onion
1 minced serrano pepper
3 cups of chopped bell peppers
1/2 tsp of dried oregano
3 1/2 cups of mushrooms
1 cup of corn
1 1/2 cups chickpeas
1 1/2 cups of kidney beans
1 1/2 cups of black beans
2 tbs of chili powder
1 tbs of cumin powder
1 tsp of smoked paprika
1/2 tsp of salt
1/4 tsp of black pepper
1/2 cup of tomato paste
3 cups of filtered water
2 cups of diced vine ripe tomatoes Directions
1. In a large pot on medium heat add oil, garlic, and onion. Stir well until fragrant and add peppers and dried oregano. Stir well and let simmer for about 5 minutes.
2. Next add remaining ingredients excluding tomatoes. Stir pot well until all components are well combined. Lower heat to medium low and allow to simmer for 45 minutes stirring occasionally.
3. Once time is up add in tomatoes and simmer for another 5 minutes. Serve and enjoy (we served ours with corn bread 😉 We also recommend serving with rice, fries, pasta, or even mac' n' cheese)👌🏽🐰🐰🐰

Lately I have been really focusing on the mind. Controlling your thoughts, which lead ultimately to your own happiness. Happiness is not situational or reliant on who you are around. You can have everything in the world and not be happy. Happiness comes from within, from making yourself proud of who you are. Why would you want to live your entire life being YOU and not be proud of yourself? I have been on a spiritual journey for the past couple of years. I was battling self doubt and giving into negative thoughts which led to disappointing myself. By not eating healthy or not exercising, these little things we “know” we should be doing as basic self care, but for some reason DON’T, they eat away at our happiness. Every time you give in to bad habits that are not helping you achieve your goals, you’re unconsciously disappointing yourself which leads to unhappiness.
This brings me to the point of the quote pictured above, which reminds me of the book Eckhart Tolle wrote called The Power of Now. Your life is NOW. Not tomorrow not when you go on vacation, not this weekend, NOW. I’m no Eckhart, and I certainly am not trying to be, but his book made me aware of my thoughts and actions and I started to watch them transform and over time it changed my mindset. Sounds like cognitive behavior therapy in the simplest form right? Well, mindset really does change everything. So if you’re failing at a health & wellness goal lets work on that mindset. Remember that if you want change to occur, make the best decision in the moment to achieve that goal because this moment is your life.
This is one reason why I LOVE holistic health so much, because controlling your mind means that you’ll be healthier in other areas of your life such as physical well being. It really is a synergistic effect.
Raising Meadow vegan doesn’t mean she doesn’t get to eat fun food like pancakes. On the contrary, these pancakes are so fluffy and delicious. When served warm with maple syrup & a glass of almond milk, takes me back to my childhood! 😋
Easy Five minute old fashion pancake vegan recipe;
1 cup of flour
1 tbsp of sugar
1 tbsp of baking powder
1 tbsp ground flax seed
Pinch of salt
1/2 tsp of vanilla extract
1 cup of almond milk
2 tbsp of coconut oil
Mix all ingredients thoroughly, heat a lightly oiled pan in medium heat. Pour approximately 1/4 of cup into the pan. Cook until brown on both sides, Enjoy!
After a week of not being able to get a full workout in I went a little hard in the gym yesterday. I’m a bit sore today. 😅

Блинчик, потом начинка и немного смазать наш «корж» веганским соусом или кетчупом. * примечание : начинка может быть абсолютно любой. Все на ваш вкус. .

Grate the patissons on a shallow grater and onions, add all the ingredients for the dough. Heat the frying pan with a little vegetable oil. Now we're making pancakes. On a small fire, fry, and then turn. These "pancakes" put on a bowl.
Carrots and onions.
Onion a little fry and add grated carrots - all a little put out on water or add raw.
We form the cake:
Pancake, then filling and a little grease our "cake" vegan sauce or ketchup.
* note: the filling can be absolutely any. Everything to your taste.

🌱1 paquete de champiñones cortados en rodajas

🌱salsa de soya
🌱tofu cortado en cuadritos 🌱1 paquete de fideos de arroz( yo use unos de arroz negro)
🌱aliños como curry , orégano , comino
🌱sal y pimienta
🌱maní 🥜 👉🏼Para la Salsa
🌱1 palta 🥑
🌱4 cucharadas de mantequilla de maní
🌱aceite de oliva/agua
🌱cilantro picadito 🌱1 cucharada de jugo de limón 🌱sal ~PROCEDIMIENTO~
🌱Sofreír la cebolla, cuando esté transparente agregar el ajo , luego todas las demás verduras y aliños junto con el aceite
🌱Hacer los fideos en una olla con sal y aceite según indique el paquete , una vez listos , Colar y agregar a la mezcla.
🌱hacer la salsa metiendo todos los ingredientes en la licuadora y procesando, luego esparcir y revolver junto con todo lo demás

Let’s talk about PORTION SIZES (Part 1)🤔⚡️ For a very long time, I thought the smaller my portions, the better. I thought smaller portions meant I would be healthier, skinnier, faster, stronger, more beautiful, a better person...
I lost weight yes. But for the rest of those things, it resulted in the exact opposite.
FIRST of all, our bodies need a certain amount of energy or fuel (from food!) to function. For all of our cellular processes to take place, for us to have energy to move and think and do everything we do day to today. To maintain our bones and hormones and heart and muscle mass. If you eat less than what you NEED, you will lose weight yes. You will also lose strength, power, energy, motivation, and eventually your health, happiness and sanity. .
SECOND, who came up with the idea of ‘serving sizes’ in the first place? It’s kind of pointless and ridiculous when you think about it. I mean is a small sedentary elderly woman going to need the same suggested 30g serving of oats (which is tiny!) as an athletic teenage girl or an tall active male?🤷🏼♀️ Umm no. It will differ completely depending on your gender, age, activity level, body type, lifestyle, past history, goals, whether you eat just 3 meals or prefer to snack too...you just can’t compare intakes to other people!💗

🌱 veggie bowls 🌱 hoy arroz integral con cosas 🔝 cebolla, calabacín, zanahoria, pimiento rojo, guisantes, brócoli y ajo 🍃 con pimienta, pimentón dulce y cúrcuma 👌🏼 lechuga y tomate 😍 y una salsita que he improvisado con pipas de girasol, leche de soja y un chorrito de aove 🔥 muy rica y cremosa, tipo mayonesa 🥗 que tengáis un buen día!
Vegan Ramen soup with Tofu ❤️ Good for 4 big bowls
30-45 min **************
1 Tablespoon of olive oil
1 onion diced
3 garlic gloves, minced
1 tablespoon of grated ginger
Cook until tender in a large stockpot 🌱🌱🌱🌱
Stir 3 tablespoon of red curry paste
1 table spoon of Mirin sauce
1 tablespoon of sambal oelek, if you want spicy 🌶
Cook for 1 minute
Add 6 cups of vegetables stock
And half a can of coconut milk
Bring to boil; reduce to heat and cook
Half a bloc of tofu diced
1 carrot sliced
1/2 cup of cilantro
Stir into the stock and let it cook for 10 minutes
I grilled 2 big bok choy cut into 4 pieces and couples of mushrooms with a bit of sesame oil .
Bbq or even at broil in the oven for couples of minutes 🍄🍄🍄 Remove the stock from heat , add some lime juice of 1 lime season with salt and pepper, to taste !
2 pack of ramen noodles not cook
Share into 4 bowls ;
1 hand of spinach in each bowl
Add the grilled veggies , green onion , cilantro and the stock with the tofu and carrots !
Wait 3-4 minutes until the ramen noodle are ready 🍜🍜🍜🍜 Enjoy , so good and tasty ! 💚🌱

- 🌿 6 замразени банана.

1. В блендер се смилат 5 банана заедно с какаото на прах и получената смес се разпределя в две красиви чашки.
