Immune-boosting soup to keep viruses away this winter🙅🏻‍♀️ 1 potato, 2 carrots, 3 leeks, 1 orange, a teaspoon of thyme, salt, vegetable stock. Fry the vegetables and thyme in olive oil until soft. Then add the juice of 1 orange and enough vegetable stock to cover it. Cook for about 20 min and blend. I like to top it up with some sunflower seeds toasted wit tamari, sesame seeds with seaweed and olive oil. It is delicious and the orange gives it a very special flavour. This is the best and easiest hearty puréed vegetable soup! It’s not only full of fiber, but is 5 servings of veggies per serving! It’s also vegan, grain free, and paleo! #ITKWB RECIPE👇🏼 Ingredients: One sweet large onion, diced 2-3 garlic cloves, minced 1 medium sweet potato, cubed 1 lb. frozen organic spinach 1 lb. frozen organic broccoli OR 2 lbs broccoli and no spinach (play around with your ingredients) 2 tsp tarragon—OR—2 tsp crushed rosemary Cumin and coriander, to taste, optional 5 1/3 cups water In a large pot with olive oil, sautee the onion and garlic about 10 minutes, covered. Cook until translucent. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil, then simmer for about 30 minutes. Play around with your spices: e.g. basil or even pesto sauce might be good. Remove from stove and blend using a hand blender. Garnish with your favorite toppings (I love pine nuts, hemp seeds, and toasted sesame seeds). Enjoy!

Ekspresowy i bardzo smaczny barszczyk ❤️ - z dodatkiem zakwasu domowej roboty 😊 Jak jest u Was? Dzielicie się przedświąteczną pracą? Macie bardziej tradycyjne potrawy, czy trochę szalejecie? Jesteśmy bardzo ciekawe! Składniki na barszcz znajdują się na 2 zdjęciu, a przepis poniżej: 🍵 Warzywka (łącznie z burakami) na barszcz umyj, i pokrój na większe kawałki. 🍵 Na dnie dużego garnka rozgrzej łyżkę oleju. Kiedy się już mocno rozgrzeje - wrzuć cebulę i podsmażaj - może nawet zbrązowieć. Następnie dorzuć pora, i kolejno - wszystkie warzywa. Smaż je kilka minut na oleju, po czym zalej 1 litrem gorącej wody. 🍵 Dorzuć wszystkie pozostałe składniki, przyprawy i czosnek. Gotuj całość ok. 45 minut, do godziny. My gotowałyśmy właśnie godzinę 🙂 🍵 Po tym czasie warzywa odcedź na sitku, zostaw kilka do barszczu (na pewno buraki!), a resztę mocno odcedź na sitku. 🍵 Do wywaru dolej swój zakwas i chwilę podgrzewaj, ważne żeby nie zagotować wywaru z zakwasem! 🍵 Dopraw ulubionymi przyprawami, solą, pieprzem, dorzuć pokrojone buraczki i zajadaj! Some meals leave you feeling tired & heavy, yet others leave you feeling light & energetic. For me, I notice a difference within minutes after consuming a meal. This wonderful soup bowl was a good one because not only it was highly nutritious & tasty, it also left me feeling great.👍 Plus it was super easy to make. It’s still up on my stories if you’d like to take a peek. I steamed a variety of vegetables such as: red Kuri squash, potatoes, sweet potatoes, carrots, celery, & ginger. Once steamed, I used it’s leftover steam water to blend all the veggies, & added himalayan salt & pure maple syrup. Added steamed fingerling potatoes to the blended soup, & it was perfect!😋 This will be my dinner for tonight as well - because I love leftovers! There is no fat, gluten, or dairy in this meal - it is all plant-based healing foods. Give it a try, & let me know how you like it.💗

VEGAN “CHICKEN” NOODLE SOUP This delicious soup is such a good winter comfort food!🤤 I used jackfruit and it is amazing! Recipe: Chop 2 carrots finely, 2 small onion chopped finely as well, 2 celery sticks chopped into thinly slices, 2 tbsp minced garlic, and 1 big red potato chopped into small chunks. Add vegetables into a soup pot with 2 tbsp olive oil and sauté for about 5-7 min. Halfway through add 1 can of canned jackfruit chopped into small chunks. Once veggies have cooked a little add 2 cups low sodium veggie broth, 3 cups water, and spices- 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp onion powder, 1/4 tsp Himalayan salt, 1/2 tsp pepper, 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning, 1/4 tsp basil, 1/4 tsp oregano. On high stir everything together and bring to boil, let simmer about 8-10 min. Then add 1/2 box of spaghetti pasta- broke in half noodles. I used @eatbanza chickpea noodles. Clarified mushroom broth soup with confit mushrooms and tomatoes. A little fancy-pants Soup to get this almost-winter morning started right! I made the clarified broth by boiling mushrooms, garlic, onions, herbs, carrots and celery for 20 minute and then filtering the broth through a fine strainer. I love a good puréed soup in the winter and this one was so good!! Puréed soups are super easy because you can use pretty much any vegetables and as long as you have some solid spices it will always be good. I got to use my new immersion blender that Max got me and it worked so well! This soup would be great for the holidays as an appetizer or light lunch. 1️⃣Roast a medium sized acorn squash in the oven at 350F, sliced in half and upside-down until soft (20 minutes-30 minutes) 2️⃣Chop a large cauliflower into florets and boil until soft 3️⃣Chop a bushel of leeks and soak in water for 5 minutes to clean off dirt. Sauté on medium heat with 3 cloves chopped garlic and 2 Tbsp olive oil until soft 4️⃣Put the soft squash, leeks and cauliflower into a pot with 2 cups of vegetable broth - immersion blend (or put in a blender) until smooth 5️⃣Add juice from half of a lemon, 1 tsp paprika, 1 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp pepper, 1 Tbsp nutritional yeast, 1 tsp oregano and another clove minced garlic - puree until smooth 6️⃣Split into small bowls and top with paprika and rosemary - enjoy! If you like thick, winter soups as much as I do then you should try this! It's so cold outside and I found myself dreaming about a nice warming #Sattvic #vegan Mexican style soup. 🍵👌🌱☀❤ I've made this soup with just a few ingredients and it tasted amazing!👍👍👍🌱 Sautee some cayenne pepper with coconut oil in a pot until you smell a lovely aroma! Add a couple of cans of organic chopped tomatoes and 2/3 of a full fat coconut milk can, season well, add a bit of boiling water and leave it to simmer. Healthy starts at home. Super easy recipe to follow below my friends! Even easier if you have an Insta-Pot. I chose not to use mine since I enjoy watching my food cook and being hands on. 😃 . Rustic Jackfruit & Veggie soup . 🌿3 Tbsp safflower oil. 🌿1 can jackfruit @edwardandsons . 🌿1/2 red onion. 🌿1/2 cube not chicken bouillon @edwardandsons . 🌿5 cups water. 🌿2 garlic cloves. 🌿1 tsp grated fresh ginger. 🌿4 small carrots. 🌿3 zucchini. 🌿2 sprigs thyme. 🌿1/2 cube not chicken bouillon. 🌿1/2 cube veggie bouillon @edwardandsons . 🌿1 can garbanzo beans. 🌿1/2 cup cilantro. 🌿Crushed black pepper to taste. . In a large pot heat 2 Tbsp oil over medium heat. Add onion and sauté until fragrant. Add jackfruit that’s been drained, rinsed and partially separated using your fingers. Add 1/2 cube of not chicken bouillon. Let dissolve while stirring to incorporate well. Cook for about 5 minutes. In the mean time chop carrots and zucchini in 1/2 inch pieces. Add carrots to pot. Cook for another 5 minutes. Next add ginger, 2 garlic cloves, thyme, other half of not chicken bouillon, 1/2 cube of veggie bouillon, black pepper and 4 cups water. Cook for about 10 minutes then add zucchini, garbanzo beans & a few sprigs of cilantro. Reserve the rest for garnishing once soup is served. Cook for another 10 minutes. Remove from heat. Serve hot and garnish with cilantro and some lime wedges. Enjoy 💜 . Suelo consumir el brócoli al vapor, hervido o crudo, pero esta vez me he decidido por prepararlo así, está delicioso y es muy digestivo. . El brócoli tiene muchas propiedades beneficiosas, vitaminas, minerales y fitoquímicos que pueden ayudar a prevenir diferentes tipos de tumores. Hay estudios científicos que lo avalan, y lo mejor es acudir a ellos para estar bien informado, acude a las fuentes y no te dejes convencer por lo primero que leas por ahí. . Si hay algo que está claro es que es más beneficioso en crudo que cocinado, ya que la mayoría de las sustancias beneficiosas que contiene son sensibles al calor y se degradan durante la cocción, así que al menos realiza cocciones cortas para preservar parte de sus vitaminas y minerales. .
