I used to truly believe that eating healthy was all about what I shouldn’t eat: cut carbs, avoid sugar, ditch diet soda, etc. I thought that if I just focused solely on eliminating those “bad” foods, that was all I needed to do. I’ve since learned that fueling my body with amazing, nutritious foods is really the first and most important step! Because....guess what? When you fill up on nutrient-dense, satisfying, fiber-filled clean foods, you start to need the crap food less and less!
First stop 🛑: vegetables!! Don’t be scared! They really can be just as exciting and delicious and filling as all the other stuff that you think you want more.

I didn't get to do my treadmill workout today because I'm just not feeling good.. BLAH. I took a nice hot shower & now it's finally dinner time for me. Dad made a big frittata for dinner with some potato, sauteed onions & fresh swiss chard with some pecorino romano cheese on top.. my parents ate whatever & left me the rest & I'm having that with one of my avocados on the side & a cup of my NUMI organic jasmine tea but I don't plan on eating everything! #healthy #yummy #homemade #veggieLOVE #yummyFIBER #protein #eggwhiteLOVE #iLOVEorganic #iLOVEwater #hotteaLOVE

Okay, so I'm posting these to share the #progress
I've made so far with just the 80Day Obsession program and a vegan meal plan. There is still definitely work to be done which is why I'm going to be starting a new program on Monday called LIIFT 4. Its just what I need to put me where I have envisioned myself being.
I'm so excited to start another program because I've definitely proven to myself I'm capable of anything I set my mind to. When I first started I never thought I'd get back to my pre-baby weight. And here I am, lighter than my pre-baby weight🤗

celebrating my mamas birthday and all being together 🤩 I’ve been wanting to go here for soooo long and so happy we finally did.
They believe in “All our dishes are lovingly made by hand from locally sourced, honest and, if possible, organic ingredients free from refined sugars, additives or other nasties. We like to follow the 80/20 rule: 80% plant-based, 20% animal produce – although the main rule is 100% lekker! Delicious food that happens to be good for you, too.” A great place for everyone to have a delicious meal together and for people transitioning into plant based diets! I had the sweet potato, black bean and quinoa burger with vegan cheese, my mum the vegan pad thai and my brother the burger. Afterwards followed by some vegan and gluten free carrot cake and açai cheesecake dessert 🤤🤤🤤

Guapis! Esta ensalada esta…uff! De-li-cio-saaaaa. Si vieron mis historias ayer, me hice esta ricura y está mega mega fácil de armar.
Me encanta siempre probar y experimentar nuevos sabores, pero sobre todo, ver harto color en mis platos, porque eso solo dice una cosa: RECARGA DE NUTRIENTES AL FULL.
La arúgula se ha convertido en una de mis verduras favoritas, al principio la verdad le hacía el fuchi al sabor, pero todo está en saber cómo combinar y queda increíble.
Va la receta mega mega sencilla:
- 3 tazas de arúgula
- 2 duraznos grandes y maduros
- 1/2 taza de jitomatitos cherry
- 1/2 puño de nueces de la india o nueces pecanas (si le ponen de las 2 queda… uff!)
- Un poco de queso Feta (me encanta su sabor combinado con la arúgula)
- Vinagre balsámico como aderezo
El balance de sabores es de verdad increíble, jamás pensé que el jitomate quedara tan bien con durazno y wow! Me súper encantó.
Espero la prueben y si la hacen, mándenme fotiux ¡Los quiero!
