The ultimate souvenir? A tattoo😱 After years of shuttling guests to Buddhist temples to be inked by monks trained in an ancient style called sak yant, the Siam Hotel decided to invite a former monk named Ajahn Boo to set up a studio in its spa. According to sak yant tradition, the design and placement of these enduring souvenirs — believed to offer mystical powers, protection and luck — are mostly in the hands of the tattooer. | @jilux_

So excited to finally share some of the gorgeous images and beauty from our second annual Friendsorgiving. Created in partnership with our friend and fellow planner @kellysgolia
, Friendsorgiving is a full day dedicated to friendship, creativity and appreciation. We had 27 creative friendors of all verticals come together this year to glam up, take headshots, create one of a kind tablescapes, taste some artisanal cocktails, and best of all - enjoy each other’s company over a yummy dinner. It’s one of our favorite traditions! More pretty photos and inspiration at the link in our bio.
This semester has definitely been REAL hard, but I'm also very thankful to have had the opportunity to grow in big and little ways
When school is canceled and you have to go to work with Mom, your bowl of Cheerios gets a serious upgrade. 🍩

My visit of Wawel cathedral was surprising, because I was not expecting to find tombs of Swedish medieval house of Vasa royal family in there since I forgot the Polish branch. House of Vasa ruled kingdom of Sweden from 1523 to 1654. Female monarch Kristina wad the last ruler in the Swedish branch. This house ruled also tsardom of Russia 1610-1613 and Polish-Lithuanian commonwealth 1587-1668. Why this interests me is that current area of Finland belonged partly to Sweden back then and the house of Vasa ruled "Finland" as well. Johan III was Duke of Finland and resided in castle of Turku. I took pictures in that castle summer 2017. Turku is a Finnish city these days. Johan III married a Polish royal Katarina Jagellonica. His brother who was a king Erik XIV was enraged by the marriage of his brother to a Polish royal and captured Johan III and his Polish wife Katarina. He transferred the couple elsewhere and imprisoned them. Eventually Erik XIV lost his throne, because nobles did not approve his marriage to Karin Månsdotter who was not of royal origin (parents were peasants) and Erik was considered to be too unstable to rule. Freed Johan III managed to take his place as a king. Johan III imprisoned Erik XIV and Erik's wife eventually to castle of Turku while he carried out his royal duties in the current area of Sweden. When I saw the Polish texts Wazowie or Waza I immediately knew, which family the name referred to. In Finnish the house is called Vaasa.
I promised more shots of Huckleberry & fam, and here they are!! Love these three a whole lot! We are so lucky to have amazing friends & neighbors in Boston. Hudson has helped us meet some truly awesome people since we moved here last year, and this year I’m especially grateful for K&T (yes, they have the same initials as us!!) and all of our other new friends in Boston. (P.S. Boston friends - I will be convincing all of you to come pose for photos with me in the near future, so get ready. 😍).

Winter has officially arrived in full force ♥️🗝
We escaped London for a few days last week and drove to the Cotswolds. We stayed in the perfectly chocolate-boxy Broadway, all sandstone cottages, rolling hills and misty mornings. Highly recommended! #cotswolds #broadway #thisisfall

Coming across the Jordan Pond Gate Lodge tucked within the forest of Acadia National Park almost feels like you wandered into a fairytale. I took this photo over the summer, but the building really stuns when it's topped with fresh snow. If you can't visit for yourself you should check out the winter edition of @mainehomesmagazine
(on newsstands now!) to see a seasonal photo and read my feature on this fascinating little building 🏰
A breakfast cupboard is such a lovely addition to a kitchen as it’s a great spot to hide away the toaster and coffee machine when not in use but the bi-fold door means it can be left open during busy times and closed off in the evenings. #humphreymunson

TFW it’s the last acceptable week to post pumpkin pictures but you still have a bunch that haven’t seen the light of day 😢
i live here.
in this body, today for the 32nd year.
the heart in my chest has beat for 32 journeys around the sun.
these eyes have opened to 11680 moon rises and 11680 sunsets.
every day is a blessing, a gift to stretch my hands towards the sky,
in this skin.
today my soul celebrates it’s 32nd time
coming home. 💫
joyeux anniversaire à moi!
here i am trying to live.
i am trying to teach the death within me how to live.
