Hello Sunday Tuesday. Today, we're mostly driving to Birmingham for the @JanuaryFurnitureShow.
Hoping the sun stays out for a while yet ☀️🌱🌿
T h e K i t c h S i t c h ‼️
I never put posts up about my kitchen because it’s the one place I haven’t been able to change in the house. All my friends and family know (and take the piss out of me) because I HATE the pink, it’s just not me. It’s quirky, it’s modern and easy to keep clean BUT I HATE THE PINK. Most people think I’m probably dramatic about it, which I probably am, but since day 1 it’s been the think I’ve wanted to change to most but other rooms take priority. I always wanted it to be black and copper , but the pink is soooo bright it take away your eyes attention for the copper to stand out, so it all ends up fading into the background.
The one thing I would say as advice is that copper is really hard to keep shiny and clean and if you don’t pay good money for real copper utensils they turn really crap too. A lot of my copper stuff is from Wilko and TKMax
The mirror is up in the living room and I love it. I have been wanting this mirror from @williamwoodmirrors
for months. So happy to finally have it up. I positioned it opposite the bay window to reflect even more light into the room. Curtains, blinds, pillows and nik naks to finish the room 😂

Pretty please how our up-cycled storage box turned out. It still needs another coat but I think it looks great already. Swipe for a picture of the colour it was before we painted it. I forgot to take a before picture though. Hope everyone has a great Monday!
Devil is in the details! Century home restoration downtown Toronto coming along. Pleasure to be working with such beautiful Victorian architectural design. Starting with old European houses, we’ve had the pleasure of working on so many of these projects over the last 20 years in four different countries. We LOVE helping restore these beauties to their original glory 🙌 #torontohomes #brooksidehomes #houserestoration #victorianhomes #homerenovation
Historic home details ♥️
One of our favourite hobbies is checking out the old homes in our area. We can’t get enough of the old brick, flowering window planters, and arched shutters.
One of the best parts of living in our 1908 foursquare is getting to add these Victorian details to our own home! Yes, we’re in a constant state of renovation and are always apologizing to our guests for the mess, but it’s so worth it to be slowly bringing back those beautiful old details with our own modern flair.
Because it’s -25°C here, we’re focusing on our interior facelift for now. In a few months when the snow melts, we’ll be making a priority list for the exterior, including landscape lighting, a new porch, and some gorgeous arched shutters of our own.
