Domaine de la PEPIERE
I wonder, if this style was more popular would there would be a heap of dumb Muscayay posts?
It's FRIYAY bishez
This wine is demure but not especially delicate. Fresh green apple, lemon salt, thyme, lavendar/touch of talc, subtle minerality, touch of mid texture, tapered somewhat 🍃
I had a glass of this 6 weeks ago and found it vibrant and expressive with distinctive Loire minerality; such a great example of this style (made by the Muscadet master) Not getting the same vibe second time round; it is very pleasant but seemed subdued and lacking in drive. .
Bottle variation? Am I tasting on the wrong day of the lunar cycle? I drank it over 2 days, with varying temperature, to see if I was missing something, nope 🤔
Still, I would TASTE AGAIN ✅ .
I have found very little Muscadet in Perth. Any tips/recs??
