This is the realest I've ever been, realest I've ever been
Bitch, a minority, they wouldn't let me in
Bitch, a minority, vexing your present
If I had a dick then I might get some preference
I got an ego, but I'm never flexing it
When you're the truth, you ain't worried 'bout replicas
This the realest I've ever been, this is the realest I've ever been
Singing, "Fuck being delicate"
I'm bored af sigh
The Pink Pussycat, Rainton Hastie's strip club on Karangahape Road, Auckland. Before he became a force to be reckoned with in adult entertainment, Hastie had tried his hand in cafes, trying to cash in on the beat/continental craze by opening the 'Lautrec' at 57 Lorne Street in the early 1960s. This was before he discovered that sex sells (more than coffee and croissants, anyway).
Victoria Hawkins remembers Rainton: "He was our neighbour when I was a kid, and our cat used to bring home all his washing that fell off the clothesline; some of it was questionable. I used to hang it up on our line and Rainton could see it from our house and come rescue it."

A movie I had no desire to see that I am actually obsessed with now...this film and the accompanying soundtrack are epic!!! The question is...which do you like better, the original 1982 version or the 2010 sequel?🌈
