Christian Setiadarma is a traveling yoga teacher, born and lives in Cirebon. Christ always loves active body movements which led him to discover yoga to cure his back and spine problems.
He built and owns First Yoga Studio in Cirebon. A graduate from Yogamix Yoga school in Jakarta, Christ continues to deepen his knowledge with many well-known teachers from Indonesia and other countries by attending workshops in Jakarta and Bali.
Beside actively managing and teaching in Cirebon, Christ taught special classes and workshops in the cities in West Java.
His practice and style of teaching are inspired by #Vinyasa
His mission in yoga is to empower people to uncover path to achieve their greater life purpose, to never give up easily and to find the happiness inside the body and mind.

In yoga we move through this pose during #sunsalutation
and during our #yogaflow
class or #vinyasa
sequence. It can be tough to do...It is definitely worth practicing this first on your knees to get good alignment. Sometimes to gain strength it is better to take a step back, modify it and do it with good form.. Remember that yoga is not a class just designed for the body. It’s hard not to get caught up in that concept if you are one who compares yourself to others, but try this... close your eyes in class, practice with a steady breath, modify your poses to improve your technique, move with conscious awareness. I promise you that it will heighten your awareness and you will develop a yoga practice much more rewarding than only physical gains. .
Well that’s just my personal experience after practicing yoga and body movement for 40+ years..

WIHOOO. HALF WAY. Let’s bring in some yoga today, because you know what yoga is not gymnastics, it is actually meditation. In general, yoga especially slightly more advanced poses like balancing poses can help us to become aware of our level of awareness in the moment, if we are in present in our bodies or lost in our heads. When we falling down it can usually be a sign for that we are thinking about something else. Today, we will explore our so called Tree-pose.
Set your timer on 15 min – find a standing pose – move your weight to the right foot – lifting up the left foot, bend your knee and place it somewhere on the inside of your right leg (avoiding the knee) – breath here as long as it is possible and then change to the other leg – when you get enough of balancing, sit down in meditation until your timer is ringing.

Hi. Hey. Hello. I wanna talk for a second about mental health. It’s important. It can feel lonely, but you’re not alone-I have friends who struggle. I struggle. Whether you have a diagnosed disorder you are struggling with, or just don’t feel like yourself, it’s important that you check in. Take time for yourself. Tell people how you feel. Self care includes doing the work, too. So as much as most days I’d like to eat pizza and watch narcos, I don’t. Some days I do, but other days I get up and do the work. But every single day, I tell myself that I am enough. I’m doing my best. I’ve been going to therapy regularly, eating well, being honest about how I feel, asking for help, and starting again and it has done wonders for my depression, ocd, and anxiety. I finally feel like myself. My self-esteem has improved and I’m able to calm down from panic attacks. Self care can be tough when we live in a world of productivity. Your worth is not measured in productivity. It is okay to take breaks. It is okay to pause. If today the only thing you managed to do was get out of bed, that’s okay. if all you did was breathe, that’s okay too. If it stays like that for awhile, make sure to reach out to someone. Mental health matters and a lot of it is misunderstood, so whatever you’re feeling, just know that you are not alone. As Ram Dass says, we are all just walking each other home. 🖤
This practice has taught me so much about myself. But most importantly it has also taught me so much about the world outside my mat. I pray that this practice always stays true and full of light. I promise to keep showing up. ✨✨✨✨✨✨ #enjoythejourney #yogalife #practiceon #homepractice

Compassion and storytelling. I talk about this a lot in my classes. .
Hold compassion for yourself as you unwind and observe what arrives with out telling stories. However, in total transparency this is really, insanely, hard for me. Not on my mat, on my mat no problemo. Easy peasy, I get in the yoga bliss zone and can just be. .
This is fucking hard for me in life. This is hard for me as I’m teaching. As I flub my words cause some days, like today, my mouth and brain just don’t want to work together, I go into story mode with ease. I have a moment of “oh god I cued the wrong foot and had to make a joke about it. These students probably just rolled their eyes internally at me so hard.” .
Yep, that happens. That’s real. .
BUT with this focus and alignment challenge, the more I’m in the present moment, the more loving I’m becoming. And this love and compassion is starting to circle its way back around to me ❤️ .
I did still have that thought today while teaching, however I held myself in compassion and internally cheered myself on to continue with grace. To acknowledge that we are all human. .
Each day we are given lessons, big and small. To become more aware, more present and to refine. To be subtle and big. To be a space holder and an energy giver. It’s all duality, a beautiful, intricate dance we all get to be apart of. If we are present. If we are not in our heads, the past or the future. .
This is where I am today and it feels like a beautiful reraveling of a new way of being. ❤️🙏🏻✨
