I’ve been getting a few questions on how I lost weight or got so lean “so fast”. Mind you, I’ve been dieting since mid March, that’s 20+ weeks of dieting. But the method calculated so I’m able to hold onto as much muscle as possible, plus I’ve been weight training since 2009, going on almost 10 years of building that foundation/muscle maturity. It may look like I’ve gotten lean so fast because now my body fat is at that level where you can actually see muscularity and shape of my muscles.
When I started lenning out this year, my intentions were to get back to me, at a healthier weight that I was comfortable with in my own skin. I stayed consistent with training, kept on top of my nutrition, and thoroughly enjoyed the process of transforming not only my physique, but more importantly my mindset in building that mental toughness and positive attitude. I too started and stopped in the past. This year I made a promise to myself to keep going, trust in the process, take it one day at a time and not give up on myself. Through it all, I’ve fallen in love with my passion all over again... Here we are 8 weeks out from my first completion in 4 years. Let’s continue to work and #GetBetterEveryday
