t’s a sneaky thing, age. And how it can slowly rob you of vision.
We held our brand-new, six-hour old baby nephew a couple days ago. Both of us were struck by the sweet new life, and the possibilities that are his. It seems like just a minute ago that we held our own babies with that same awe and wonder. We’ve been overwhelmed to see their lives unfold and each of them fully embrace the possible – it takes our breath away!
It’d be really easy to think there was less possible ahead. But it isn’t true.
We are passionate about seeing the possible – in ourselves, our marriage, our life. Vision, possible are like fuel for everything, BUT…we’ve learned that doesn’t just happen. It’s a discipline, a practice and it goes like this: look at your partner – face to face, eye to eye – and speak a wish, a hope, and a dream into the space between you.
It’s life changing. It’s relationship rocking. God tells us in Proverbs 29:18 that ‘without a vision, the people perish.’ We need vision and possible – you need vision and possible. See it, speak it, live it. Become a visionaire! With love, Susan and Jere
