from our recent trip to Mount Rainier. Amazing views of glaciers from Skyline Trail, and this group of mountaineers heading up to climb Tahoma. What an awe-inspiring place!
Photos from our epic adventure around the skyline loop trail, which gets you right up close to Mt Rainier, and on a clear day like this one, offers up views of Mt St Helens and Mt Adams. Pretty incredible.
Loved exploring Mount Rainier this week with the people that mean the most to me. Every minute is golden. 💛💛💛

A week ago I had the chance to visit Washington's national park and I got blown away with it's beauty! Also video from this trip coming soon!!! 😎
Escaping to the forested trails and blooming meadows of Mount Rainier National Park feels like taking a step back in time. Few likely consider the many staff members, like historical landscape architect Saylor Moss, working to preserve its rustic integrity. Read more about Moss and her work at southsoundmag.com or at the link in our bio.
6/15/18, 7:20 am PST Mt Rainier NP Washington State, live webcam-west view. I miss being able to get up there, so I appreciate my tax dollars going to this service. I, along with many others, check this cam daily and it never disappoints. Sometimes, though, magic happens. My favorite way to start a day.

I love living where mountains are all around but Mt. Rainier makes me so happy.
Great snowshoe trip to Mt. Rainier National Park!
Unless you keep on visiting the same place, travelling is always about exploring and discovering something new. Whether you are taking the path less travelled or the path that everyone takes, you are always discovering something that is new to you when you are in a new destination. .
This is how I approached my first visit to Mount Rainier, although I was somewhat limited by being with a tour group. It was just as interesting and exciting to discover something on the well worn path that I had never seen before than to try and step away from the path.
This was a great snowshoe trip to Reflection Lakes in January 2017, at Mt. Rainier National Park.
This was taken along the White River during a 2017 snowshoe trip near Greenwater, WA.
This was taken during a day trip to Sunrise VIsitor Center, in Mt. Rainier National Park.
It was sad to hike through the destruction from the Norse Peak Fire, but the area still remains beautiful, as the regrowth begins.
Found the sun at the Naches Peak Loop Trail!
Lake Tipsoo was amazing today!
“Train yourself to let go of everything you fear to lose. Fear - it is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering” These wise words of Yoda I think of, as I stand facing the galaxies, with my very own lightsaber. One day I will conquer the universe.

Had found this neat waterfall shortly off of the Huckleberry Creek Trail.
This beautiful lake sits peacefully within Mt. Rainier National Park. This lake can be seen right as you hit the trailhead to the Tolmie Fire Lookout.
This is a great viewpoint from the Summerland Trail in Mt. Rainier National Park, shortly before the end of the summer season.
