How amazing is @harpareykjavik
Just the beginning of our colourful adventure around Iceland 🇮🇸
It was a busy week at my job and I’ve come down with a nasty cold, but I did manage to get a couple posts up!
Check out the latest to read why I can’t wait to get back to the city of Reykjavik... 💭🌃
HONEY I'M HOME!
10 months and 44 countries later, I'm back in the place I call home.
It's almost impossible to believe that my life of constant travel is about to take a break, but rest assured, my adventure is far from over 😉
If there's one thing I'm taking away from this trip, it's that there is always more exploring to do, doesn't matter where you are.
With that being said, I'm freaking STOOOKED to rediscover what Calgary and all the nearby places I've grown up with are all about!!! Mostly CANNOT wait to try all the new restaurants 🍽
Also, are you guys ready for basically daily flashback posts?! Cause you can bet your ass I'm gonna be coming in extremely hot with pictures from the whole trip.
If there's anything in particular you really want to see or really want to hear more about, SPEAK NOW OR FOREVER HOLD YOUR PEACE. Just kidding, speak now or speak later, I'm all ears! Now's just a good moment if you feel like telling me!
Requests can be like "talk about your worst bus experience!" or "show us your best mountain pic!" or "Tell us why we should travel in a carry on!" . Im really open to almost anything you guys want 😀😀😀
P.S. I've already got some plans cooking for my next "bigger" adventures, but I'll let you in on those once they're more official !
P.P.S. that picture is not of the place I call home cause it's actually just to damn cold for me to go out and take a pic. So it's one of my favourites from Iceland instead!
I’m not a religious person by any stretch of the imagination (I treat people with respect no matter who they pray to) but I often like to explore places of worship on my travels and see how different cultures operate, whether it be a magnificent four minaret mosque in Istanbul, a Hindu temple in Bali or a Viking built cathedral on the Orkney Islands. It’s nice to sit for a moment, absorb the history and try to understand the motivation and effort it took to build these places of worship in support of their belief system. This is just a simple shot from the interior of Reykjavik’s main cathedral, but sometimes simplicity can tell its own story #reykjavik #visitreykjavik #hallsgrimskirkja #travelphotography #placesofworship #cathedral

I love all the colourful and quirky houses around Reykjavík!
Skogafoss is one of the biggest waterfalls in Iceland
We put our key card up to the door, turned the handle to be greeted by bright rays of sunshine streaking through the room. A warm and bright welcome to what was the start of a three-night stay in Reykjavík. We both looked at each other with excited smiles, it was our first time visiting Iceland and we knew as soon as we laid eyes on our apartment that we had a cosy haven for us to return to after days exploring.
There’s a new post on The Life of a Social Butterly all about The Swan House @reykjavikapartments

¿Te animas a leerlo? 😊
