Yellowstone’s upper loop has diverse weather conditions. Sometimes the weather can change within 20 mins. This picture captures how one side was clearly rainy (with some snow and sleet) while the other side was clear. This part of our journey was fascinating and breathtaking . . . #visityellowstone #experienceyellowstone #yellowstonepledge #yellowstonenationalpark #yellowstone #weather #cloudy #scenic #mountains #beautiful #beautifuldestinations #breathtaking #travel #travelphotography #nature #naturephotography #canon #canonphotography #notprofessional #wyoming #photography #diverse #thetravelcult #throwbackthursday #tbt
This little cutie wasn’t shy at all when we were at Yellowstone. He was sitting right next to the boardwalk, popping the dandelion heads off and eating them. 🐿 🌼 #yellowstonenationalpark #ynp #adorable #nationalparks #montantaphotographer #montanacaptured
As we were leaving Yellowstone we stumbled upon this gorgeous view of the sun setting over the water. It’s amazing how beautiful sunsets like this one just make you stop in your tracks and appreciate every little thing around you. #sunset #sunset_pics #instatravel #yellowstonenationalpark #yellowstone #experienceadventure #yellowstonesunset #visityellowstone #yellowstonenps
The Crested Pool in the Upper Geyser Basin in Yellowstone. The colors in YNP are just stunning everywhere you look. I love that you can see the bison tracks in all of the thermal features in the park. - #naturelovers #nature_perfection #nature_brilliance #naturephotography #buffalo

Big Sky Series 2015: “A moment to reflect”🙏🏼⛰ There’s this little hidden gem within Yellowstone. Not too many people know about. It’s called Trout Lake and it’s one of the most serene places I’ve ever been. There was nobody else here when I took this photo. Had the whole place to myself • • #yellowstonenationalpark #troutlakeyellowstone #wyoming #visitmontana #visityellowstone #exploremontana #ig_reflections #lake #mountains #nationalparks #americathebeautiful #capturacolor #fantasticearth #amazing_shots #igersmontana #igerswyoming
June. . . . Usually when someone tells you to go take a hike it is in a rude context. But regardless of the attitude the person is showing, if they told me to go take a hike I would say “gladly” and proceed on my way, especially if this was the hike they were referring to. Which in another sense is great, because if someone is rude enough to say that to you then you don’t need them in your life anyways. Keep treading onwards friends, life is about new settings and adventure! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️😄
The best part about exploring Yellowstone was to witness the colors emanating from the prisms/geyser's in it's most natural form. 📸:#chavezkumar while I just sat gazing at this beauty amidst the crowd. #yellowstonenationalpark #visityellowstone #travellove #travelwyoming #travelandluxury #travelandleisure #travellife #travelblogger #indiantravelblogger #wearetravelgirls #pangeadreams #sofetravel #desitraveler #theshootingstar #passionpassport #wonderful_places #tlpicks #earthescope #beautiful_travel #travellove
A beautiful Valley in the Yellowstone National Park springing back to life after a hard winter!🏞️ The Yellowstone National Park has experiences two extremes of temperature. The winter is extremely cold and harsh and this explains why the Park is closed for 6 months a year. During this time, the bears go into hibernation and the wolves and other predators are desperate for food. As Spring begins to set in, the snow begins to melt. The summer is extremely hot here. This picture was taken during the 2nd week of May 2018 while it was still Spring in the Park and not all the snow has melted!! #nationalparkgeek #yellowstonenationalpark #yellowstonenps #visityellowstone #beautifulmontana #visitmontana #findyourpark #usinterior #usmidwest #visittheusa #wyomingexplored #yellowstoneinsight #yellowstoneforever #wildwildwildwest #yellowstonevalley #yellowstoneinspring #findyourway #yourpubliclands #landscape_lover #landscape_photography #nationalparkservice #nps #outdooradventures #digitalnomadlife #wanderlust #explore_the_earth #nationalparkphotography
Most people will call this a buffalo but it is actually a bison. There were tons in Yellowstone! It was awesome. What should you name him? •taken @yellowstonenps #yellowstone #visityellowstone #bison #buffalo #earth_portraits

that one spot in yellowstone every photographer wants to see, but not many find. i happened to just stumble upon this spot while driving and knew it right away from all of the pictures i had seen. it was so different than i thought it would be, still beautiful though and glad i got to see it🌱
Horse Butte Lookout over Hebgen Lake is ASTONISHINGLY beautiful. There’s no way to fully capture it. 😍😍😍 . Imagine standing there, cliff side with the wind blowing the 72* air around you as hawks soar nearby. It. Is. A cool evening in Yellowstone. Mama’s breath was visible, as was her annoyance because right after this, she kicked her calf. I was safely inside my car when I captured these moments. We hadn't see any elk at all since coming to Yellowstone, whereas the last time we were there, they were all over. We drove to Mammoth Springs hoping to see them and here they are. The rangers told us to stay clear of the females because of the have their new babies and are so protective of them. They will hide them in various places - between cars is one of them, between buildings is another, in fact a hotel employee was attacked because she accidentally came upon a baby and mama wasn't happy!!
At the recommendation from a neighbor, Ben and I read “Death in Yellowstone” during our travels. (Along with Harry Potter and the Sorcerers’ Stone, but that’s for another caption.) . This book gave us such insight into the dangers of Yellowstone, particularly the hot springs. But even more than that, it gave us insight into the idiocy of tourists running around said hot springs and saying, “I wonder how hot it is... maybe I’ll just touch it.” . If you have a morbid curiosity about death by hot spring, buffalo and/or murder, pick up a copy. You’ll read about children falling in, adults swimming in the wrong spring, ignorant enthusiasts getting much too close to bison and lots more. . It’s a good read around a campfire or in a cozy little Subaru. You’ll walk more carefully down those railing-less boardwalks, I guarantee you that.
Everywhere you turn there are awesome views at #Yellowstonenationalpark . We are so greateful to spend the month enjoying these views.

I think we often forget how small we are. . Do you ever see someone in the car next to you and think, “I know nothing about them, and they know nothing about me and yet we each have our own worlds and our own lives. And we are going to drive right past one another, each none the wiser about what the other is going through...” . We get caught up in the little things and probably let them get bigger than we should. . The next time you do just remember, maybe you’re a silhouette in someone’s photo, and you have no idea who they are and they definitely have no idea who you are, but you both enjoyed the same place in a different way. And together you make up the big picture.
Yellowstone National Park road trip, Day 3, part I. On Sunday, we left earlier in the day and headed for the park again. Already having a pass from the previous day, we were able to get into the park quickly, but again hit stop and slow traffic about 5 miles in. We persevered, however, and eventually made it to our first stop, the Midway Geyser Basin. The highlight of this area is the Grand Prismatic Spring. Next stop was Old Faithful and the Inn, where we spent some quality time relaxing in the rustic grandeur of this magnificent structure. Photos: 1. Artsy nature at Turquoise Pool 2. Yellowstone National Park road trip Day 2 (aka Bison on road!). The next day, we made West Yellowstone in about 45 minutes, but encountered heavy traffic on the route to the park. An hour and a half later, we finally made it to the park entrance. After another two hours of driving, we had only made it about 10 miles into the park. We pulled off at a view point to have lunch, and had the good fortune of discovering a large herd of bison grazing on the nearby plain. With no end in sight to the line of vehicles heading into the park, we chose to head back to the cabin and try again the following day. #vacation #getaway #roadtrip #yellowstonenationalpark #yellowstone #wyoming #nature #outdoors #bison #scenicamerica #landscape #visityellowstone #westyellowstone #montana #traveler #trafficjam #wildlife #jigsawpuzzle #1000pieces #qualitytime

We have spent 4 days in one of the most amazing places in the world🌲🌎💕 We have tried to make the most of it but there’s wonders here to spend a lifetime. I recommend everybody to try to visit Yellowstone at least once. I hope I will be able to come back one day🤞🏻 What I wouldn’t recommend though is to ignore the signs that read “Trail not mantained” like I did🤦🏻‍♀️. In my excitement I ended up sliding down a slope and landing on my butt. Luckily that part of my body is naturally cushioned and can take a good fall with no big consequences 💁🏻‍♀️ My left wrist can’t say the same though... 🤕 nothing some ibuprofen won’t heal but still not the smartest thing to do. Signs are there for a reason. I learned it the hard way 🙈 Yellowstone 2018. . . . . #yellowstone #yellowstonenationalpark #nationalpark #familytrip #travelwithkids #travelphotography #traveltheworld #travelusa #travelblogger #visityellowstone #discoverwyoming #memoriestolastalifetime #memories #mothernature #nature #instatravel #wanderlust #familyvacation
