Six days in. I didn’t think traveling with two small children would be quite as challenging as it has been. Despite this (and the swarm of mosquitoes that appear to have followed us from Wingan Inlet) the changing landscapes, fresh air, and nature’s beauty have made it all worthwhile. #factorfamilyroadtrip
Happy bday dearest hubby! Life with you has been such a grand adventure & I have treasured every moment spent with yaa.. Can’t wait to see where our adventure takes us.. Praying that you are blessed with all your heart's desires.. Enjoy your special day! Love youuuu💕
We agree the best part of travelling is the people you meet..
Yesterday we surprised our friends @torischoller
in Melbourne, we met them early in our trip in Cairns and had only known them for a couple of days, but when you’re on the road things evolve much quicker and you become family.
Huge thanks to @madischollerr
for letting us inside your house without ever meeting us, you’re a legend!
On another note, we catch the ferry over to Tassie tomorrow and are super excited!
Question - Who has done the journey and how many seasick pills will we need to pop? 😂
Can I ditch this rain for some tropical sun and a bev? 🌞🍻
Whisky Bay. Simply paradise 🦋
My travels have made me extra appreciative of a good sunset. I’ve always loved watching the sun set (who doesn’t?) but traveling has made me more intentional about stopping to take it in. Sunsets are such a phenomenal daily example of the majesty of God’s creation. Turning on the lights is the first thing He did for us...”And God said, ‘Let there be light!’ And there was light,” (Genesis 1:3, ESV). And every day, His creation obeys by rising and setting.
I’ve never seen an identical sunset. The colors and characteristics are always different, but the feeling I get is always the same.
I shot this in the Whitsundays in Australia last December. I see warmth. I see invitation. I see almost every color of the rainbow, which is rare. I’ve only seen that happen twice-both times in the Whitsundays. Maybe that’s their thing? I vividly recall this particular sunset being blinding. I had to stand behind a tree to take this photo because the sun was so bright.
If you’re on the east coast, then the sun is starting to set right now...look up. What do you see? 🌅
could watch forever... 🛥💦 the early morning charge to Rottnest
