Here’s a little known fact about me. I love (I mean LOVE💕) buildings. 🕍
From primitive huts to soaring cathedrals, I can’t get enough of the “looking.” When I was a kid, I used to draw floorpans- my dad showed me how to add door swings and window details, and I was hooked. I must have remodeled my childhood home a million times on paper. ✏️
So naturally I went to school for architecture. This was like 100 years ago, before I met my marine, moved all over God’s creation and homeschooled our kids. I had big plans to become a real life Howard Roark (or at least his female counterpart,) but life has a funny way of changing our trajectory, doesn’t it? 🏛
I am not an architect today, and I’m ever so glad of it. For it is one thing to be the designer, it is quite another to be the appreciator of design. The longer I journey through this life, the more grateful I am to be the latter. 📷
So give me glass and steel and lofty heights, and I’m like a kid in a candy store. Without all the stress of engineering it! 📐

Thank you to those that choose to stick with me. I promise it’ll be worth it. Just like this hike. Good things to come ✌🏼
This weekend was but a dream. Found my happy place where I wasn’t supposed to be. Found myself here with a sun kissed faced and happy.
Landed in Seattle in fog so thick we thought it was cloud cover (until we touched down in the “clouds”). At least it’s beautiful ... #afraidtofly #wanderingnotlost
Just another day in Monaco, where every hour is happy. 🌿—Unknown
I’ve spent about 2 weeks in Dahab and by now I have made a bunch of friends from all different walks of life, but mostly consisting of other nomads, wanderers, gypsies, travelers.
..................... We can adapt to every place in this world but we don’t completely fit anywhere. We don’t necessarily have only one or a home, because this world is our home. .....................
We switch between at least five languages at the table because everyone speaks at least two plus some words of a third or fourth. .....................
Surrounding myself with people like these makes me feel like I belong, not like I’m “crazy” or “amazing” or “inspiring” because I work from my laptop while traveling the world.
It gives me this feeling of normality. Of just being me. Of just being. .....................
We all know we will move away from each other soon and we never know if we will see each other again, or where. .....................
But it doesn’t matter because all we have is this moment 😊

I can’t believe this is real life. This is my life. The life I choose to live. It’s amazing and it’s mine. I love it.
