Wanted to share this with you. I started 2018 weighing in at 230 pounds. Lived a little.. learned A LOT. The reality with weight loss & fitness in general is you WILL hit a few speed bumps. Life will throw some SERIOUS curveballs.. but it’s up to you change the outcome. •
There’s only a 15 pound difference in these photos.. BUT PROGRESS IS PROGRESS. It doesn’t matter where you are, doesn’t matter how many times you have to start over. DO NOT ALLOW LIFE TO BREAK YOU! Not only trust the process, love on yourself through the progress❤️

Today my son and husband were playing basketball, and my son ran around the perimeter of the basketball court 8 times! Shout out to my son!💪🏽💙🙌🏼 So I decided I would do it. I haven't ran or sprinted or anything in years so I am happy I even had the guts to try.
Being fat is one of those things that no matter what, I always feel like I am being judged. People always want to have an opinion about how you look, what u eat, and when u try to workout, they look and judge you for doing that too.
I have to really work on getting my mind right so I can push myself to do more and not give af about peoples opinion about me because as you can see I was tired and people were staring as they went by.
I did not put the weight on over night so I know it's not going to come off over night. But I am proud of myself and thought I would share.

I had literally completely let go of myself. I didn’t feel pretty, comfortable or have any desire to leave the house. I know this large amount of weight in the first week is bloat, water and won’t be a habit, but it’s the motivation I needed. I went on vacation with my family and took 1 picture. ONE!! That’s how embarrassed I was. That’s how I knew I needed to do something, and here we are.. again! 💪🏻

Most people aren’t going to like that answer, but most people aren’t going to read this post through the end, and will likely stay exactly where they are, waiting for someone to give them a break instead of creating one for themselves.
I know this, because that’s the person I used to be. I checked in. I checked out. I didn’t know what purpose my job, or my life, was serving.
I’m grateful for those days, because they created the leverage I needed to pursue something greater.

A few weeks ago I shared that I recently gained weight. I received DMs asking how much I weigh bc I don’t look like what I stated. Lol. Tell that to my closet... 😩Anyway, that’s the importance between muscle and fat.
