Although we won’t be here to see the changes happen. It’s long overdue especially with the rise in housing tracts popping up all along the 15. 🙄 #Repost @cityoftemecula
Hey Temecula, we hear you! Here is an I-15 FREEWAY TRAFFIC CRISIS UPDATE.
The City of Temecula, in cooperation with our Regional Partners including Caltrans, RCTC and neighboring cities, is aggressively working on trying to ease traffic congestion along the I-15 corridor through Temecula. We have recently submitted a Federal Grant to help fix I-15 traffic congestion. This video was created for those at U.S. Dept. of Transportation making the Grant Award decisions in Washington D.C. Locally, RCTC is seeking public input from all over Riverside County, and we need your help to request RCTC to prioritize Interstate 15 from the San Diego County Border to the 215. Additional info: Interstate 15 is a Federal Highway and is not the City’s jurisdiction. Most I-15 travelers are not from Temecula – they are just passing through. This is a Federal, multi-state, multi-county, multi-city/regional concern. Temecula is working closely with RCTC, Caltrans and neighboring cities to expand Interstate 15. As we all move forward in a cooperative effort, we need to work together to solve our congestion issues. RCTC wants to hear from you, and they are listening!
