Big rose, small rose, and shield. A smorgasbord of different @tudorwatch
insignias. Which is your favourite?
Beauty and the beast vibes. Lange posts all week until Lange presents their new watch on the 24th of Oct! Anyone care to speculate??
Spending a whole week with just one watch. Feels great!
Feels as if I bought a brand new watch after swapping to an #erikasoriginals #mnstrap
... Have a great Monday everyone! 😎
I sold this a few months ago. I don't regret it, but I do miss it. It was the first Rolex I had. Beautiful piece but too well made (😂 hear me out). It didn't have the character many vintage watches have. The jangly bracelets, the scratches. This felt sterile, beautiful as it was. And honestly, other than movement, I feel the #bb36
is a superior watch.
‘Bless me Father for I have #sinn

Gotta love these vintage gilt dials in the evening sun!
Mmm the goodness of the @alangesoehne
Lange 1. The moon phase really adds an extra dimension to the piece.
Everybody has nipples. But not everyone has this absolutely stunning 'nipple dial' 1675 rootbeer.
Quartz Silverwave's are so ridiculously underrated. And the Z models? Even more obscure. Google Silverwave Z and you'll get a really nice article from Worn & Wound about the classic one from the 60's, but nothing on anything about these awesome divers. I put this one between early and mid 80's. This watch make me feel like a Japanese Anime Ranger that can yell a catchphrase into their watch and all of a sudden transform. I'd be PLANTAIN MAN!😂 No but seriously, Look at those end links! That's how you get a secure, tight fit. Those end links don't budge! Plus that dial, it's so shiny that it casts rainbow rings around the dial. Those blacked out hands make for amazing contrast but as you can see the beginning of them is beveled like sword hands! Love that detail. Indices are awesome, disregard the scratched crystal, those will be gone soon 😉 Screwdown crown, awesome double wave case back, and a folded link bracelet that puts most solids to shame. #seiko #watches #seikofam #seikofansclubofficial #watchfam #horology #watchesofinstagram #vintage #vintagewatch #watchuseek #seikolover #watchuwant #watchcollector #watchgeek #quartz
I swear the best Rolex watches came from the 50s. Here's a Rolex Oyster Royal and a very rare Tudor Oysterdate 7919 side by side. They left the Rolex factory one year apart, with the Tudor being 1958, and the Rolex in 1959.
Both watches are over half a decade old and are still ticking away like the champs they are! The dial of the Rolex needs a slight clean from debris, but even then you can still see the remarkable work Rolex put into their watches and dials. These things are proper time capsules.
