Wat tan hor and kuey teow ladna. Are they the same thing? The same origin? There are times that google can't actually relieve your curiosity. But won't let that bother me to cook this simple and delish dish again and again 😋. This is flat rice noodles with chicken, egg and vegetables (bak choy, and carrot) gravy
Marinate chicken pieces with salt, white pepper and crushed ginger.
Stir-fry kuey teow/flat rice noodles with soy sauce on high heat for a minute or so. Set aside.
In the same pan, pan-fry chicken on high heat until half-cook. Set aside.
In the same pan, saute garlic, chilli and onion until lightly brown. Then, add in water, carrot, chicken seasoning and oyster sauce. Once the carrot soften, add in stem of bak choy and half -cooked chicken. Then add in bak choy leaves and cornstarch slurry. Season with salt and white pepper. Lastly, add in egg and stir lightly before turning off the heat. Pour gravy on top of kuey teow/ noodles
