There is so much information that is thrown in front of newly engaged couples and it can be so hard to decipher what is truth. 🤷🏻♀️ We all know that weddings can be costly and we all have a different idea of how our dream wedding will play out. If I could give you any tip to begin the planning process this would be it: - First, sit down and consider your REALISTIC budget. Don’t make a minimum and a maximum but decide straight up an exact number you are committed to. 💰
- Second, talk through all your ideas and decide your top 5 most important must-have pieces of your wedding (ie. top notch photography, delicious food, craft beer, ect) whatever it may be, and focus on those aspects and build from there! 📸
- Third, (and this is hard) STOP LETTING OTHERS DECIDE HOW YOUR WEDDING SHOULD BE! Be authentic in your choices and don’t feel you HAVE to do something because its what typical weddings include. Your big day is yours only and in the end it’s about celebrating your love with the people that mean the most to you ❤️ •
Be smart in your decisions and if you start to fall into a spiral of spending or stress, Ask for help! I for one am always open to answering questions if it ensures you have the wedding of your dreams! ☺️
