- One of my favorite pound cakes...cream cheese pound cake. Silky, soft and buttery! 😋😋😋 just a few ingredients but so good. You can glaze it if you want, but good without it too.
1-1/2 cups butter, room temperature
8 oz. cream cheese, room temperature
3 cups sugar
6 eggs, room temperature
3 cups all-purpose flour, sifted well
1/8th teaspoon salt
Beat the butter and cream cheese till creamy. Make sure not to over beat. Add sugar gradually while beating. Add the eggs one by one. Add the sifted flour and salt at the end and mix till just combined. Bake at 300 degrees F in a greased 10 cups bundt pan. It will take anywhere from an hour and half to 1 hour 40 minutes to bake completely as there’s no baking powder or soda. Enjoy with a cup o’ Joe!
