Hit a new PB for deficit deadlifts with a supremely clean and fast 110kg lift 💪. Been doing deficit deadlifts for a while to help with the explosivity of the lower portion of the rep as often at heavy weights for conventional deadlifts I tend to struggle with the lower portion so it’s been nice to switch it up a little. In case you don’t know deficit deadlifts involve putting a stand or block on the floor to make the pull start much lower.
It was a good deadlift day with over 8 sets of clean, fast, and explosive reps and I look to forward to seeing progress in my conventional deadlifts after this portion of the programme.
I’m off on holiday for the next ten days so won’t really post for a bit so until next time 👊(also some footage of Brazilian jiu jitsu next week 🔥)

What is a Sprained Ankle?
A “sprain” is usually a sign that certain parts of the body are overused and stressed. A sprained ankle can also be called a rolled ankle or twisted ankle. Pain often means that a tear has developed in one or more ligaments that support and stabilize the ankle.
Ligaments are strong bands of tissue that hold bones together. They keep joints in place like the ankle, wrist, knee, parts of the lower back, neck, elbow and shoulder. The American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons states, “An ankle sprain occurs when the strong ligaments that support the ankle stretch beyond their limits and tear.” (2) The ankle ligaments are pulled beyond their normal range of motion.
The lateral ligament is located on the outside of the ankle. It’s the part of the ankle most often injured due to rolling, overusing, twisting or straining. Up to 85 percent of all ankle sprains result from dysfunction of these ligaments. The ankle ligaments are made of small tissue fibers. These fibers can develop injuries ranging from small pulls or twists, to complete tears. (3)
If the ankle ligaments are completely torn, the ankle may become unstable even after the initial injury passes. This sets the scene for weakness, instability and other injuries in the future. Over time, muscular compensations caused by instability can result in damage to the bones and cartilage of the ankle joint. This is especially risky for those who engage in high-impact exercises such as running or playing contact sports. (4)

Anyways, tonight’s dessert was some of this low calorie/sugar vanilla icecream (only 93 calories pr 100 gram!?!) topped with some crunch & apple 🍦
Also two mint oreo’s & hot chocolate with some soy milk in it 👅🙌🏼 And let me tell you something.. That icecream was AMAZING! So happy i tried it ✨ Like a 9/10! It tasted just as regular vanilla icecream, which is probably my favourite icecream in the entire world 🌎💫 So yeah.. A great dessert! 😍

Feeling inspired. I was thin for so long. In recent years, I've tried gaining weight- and I have. But for some reason now, my mind has been in this state of "I gained too much", "I look bad", "too much weight gain in my midsection."
I've been so hard on myself. Especially since starting modeling. I compare myself to others too much. "Look how good they look- and they got published! I guess thats what I need to look like!" No. I have to stop that. Gaining weight for me SHOULDNT be a bad thing, in fact, I need it. I just need healthy weight gain.
I gained 12lbs in the last month. I could hardly believe it, but that's what happens when you work a job where you sit all day... and stop going to the gym.
My goal is to eat BETTER. NOT eat perfect. Not counting macros. Not stressing out because I'm trying to not eat this or that. I just need to eat better; more diverse foods in my diet, not pizza or cookies or mac and cheese every day.
I also need to make an effort to go to the gym. Not to lose weight- but to maintain HOW I gain weight. To get stronger.
The left was 2014. The right is current. And the right is where I need to be, heck, even more! Who cares anymore what society thinks, what my negative thoughts think. I'm healthier, and thicker than ever. I should be proud of that.

Well this is new in my life!!!
I have been diagnosed with #hypothyroidism
. Meaning my thyroid isn’t producing enough hormones to keep up and is causing my body to work harder to do some of the basic things! This would explain a few of the things that’s been happening to me in the past 6 months. It’s only been day 2 on my #synthroid

I remember this night...I was in the midst of one of my lowest lows...I had finally reached the point where I was ready to tell my therapist that I couldn't handle everything on my own any more...I needed meds to help me make it through the day and night...which was a huge decision...
It meant that I had to say out loud that I was weak, depressed, miserable and needed help...I had held on for so long, but the anxiety and panic attacks were getting too strong to try and control on my own...
My very dear friend asked my to join her for the Godsmack show, and honestly, I wanted to say no...but I knew that I would feel better, at least while we were out together. Somehow, good friends always have the ability to make you feel better...know what I mean?
We went and enjoyed the show, but inside I still felt miserable...I put on a phony smile for the pic and just tried to lose myself in the music and alcohol...I never told her or anyone else about how I truly felt...
But I've come so far from that night...there are so many times, events, occasions, holidays, etc that I wish I could have a do over...I am not the same person, and I want to be able to enjoy everything fully now...
