Excuse the long ass post but it’s been a while! 😂
So in the next couple of weeks I will be finishing my 18 month bulk, which tbh I’m thankful for because barely any of my clothes fit and I’m sure the people at work think I’m a weirdo for wearing the same clothes all the time.
I had a mini cut around April/May this years to keep bodyfat down but other than that calories have been steadily increased.
As I increased calories I also increased strength, muscle but as always come with natural bodybuilding I increased fat too. I am sitting close to 14 stone now (which is approx 196Ibs) at around 18% bodyfat.
Since I began this bulk I was 11.5 stone and looked like a twig 😂(161ibs) so that’s an increase of 35Ibs.
Now I don’t know about you but for me that sounds a lot and my body sure is feeling it at the moment. I’ve recently injured my tendon in my chest/shoulder so my PT Josh has helped me manage it but also hurt my lower back and my mid back section which I’m still having trouble with but slowly improving.
I’m always abit sceptical about these body fat machines as they fluctuate between weight depending on how much salt you’ve eaten, sleep you’ve had, stress, water, food etc.
However, I’ve also seen my numbers on my weights increase massively this year. When I first started this 3 years ago I could barely squat 70kg and bench 60kg.
I can now squat 120kg and bench 105kg although recently had to stop benching due to the chest tendon injury. Also throw back to the time where I was tending so hard during my squat I thought I sharted 💩, after a quick jog to the toilet to check it was all good!
After Christmas comes a very long sustainable cut whereby we decrease my calories steadily week by week so I don’t lose too much muscle and only fat. It also comes to the point where I moan like a little bitch that I’m hungry AF!! According to the lovely boditrax machine in the gym I’ve put on 12Ibs of muscle but they differs week by week. Looking forward to seeing some definition this summer.
