ENTRY 1: 🍎HEALTHY IS A CHOICE 🏊♂️
So I was sitting here thinking about the choices I made today. We all know basically the difference between good and bad, that a carrot chip is better than a potato chip and that a 30 minute walk is better than sitting on the couch all evening. I know all the does and don'ts of "dieting" and I know the things I should not put in my body, such as diet soda. So basically healthy is just a choice, one I had to make for my self.
One thing I have learned from the past, is that to make any weight loss program work is you have to want to loss the weight and you have to want it for yourself. There are obstacles in every journey, that doesn't mean that we must be one of them.
The Herbalife Weight Loss Program has been very easy for me so far. My snacking is down and my exercise has increased, that is a win-win for me. my favorite shake so far is the Banana-Caramel, soooo delicious. 100% plants! Plant-based is NOT boring. The burrito is made with a whole wheat flour tortilla, pinto beans, brown rice seasoned with taco seasoning, homemade pico de gallo, avocado (was too hungry to make guacamole lol), black olives and a small amount of chopped spinach. It is so full of flavor- all while getting protein, carbs, and fat from this one meal. I was the person that NEEDED cheese and sour cream in my burritos, but I do not miss it! Browning the tortilla in a frying pan, before filling it, adds to the flavor and satisfaction of the burrito. For the beans: 1 can of organic pinto beans (drained and rinsed), 1/8th of a yellow onion, 1/2 green bell pepper, and 1/2 red bell pepper. Sauté the peppers and onions in either water or veggie stock until slightly softened and brown. Stocking up for a new week...I’m still in disbelief week 16 is coming to a close! 😮😧😱 I am super excited for my weigh-in in the morning! I will be up early too, so I’m not rushed and I don’t run out of time! ——————
I forgot to update you all with last week’s weigh-in:
I was up 3.6 lbs on Sunday after 1.6 gain on the previous Wed (remember I had been out of town so I was unable to weigh) so that was a total of 5.4 lbs up from my lowest as of a few weeks ago! WHY??...because I was pms-ing, not tracking, and then being on my period. Did I let that discourage me?! NO, I owned it, and accepted responsibility for my gains! How did I approach this last week?! I got back on track with my macros, my fitness pal, and CRUSHED my workouts (like I have been for the last 15 weeks)! ——————
I think the most important thing to remember is that we can’t be perfect 24/7 with our meal plans and workouts, life happens, and sometimes we slip back into old habits...as long as we recognize what’s happening and get right back to the grind, not losing sight of our goals then we have nothing to beat ourselves up about!
Breakfast is like filling your car with gas in the morning.. To me , breakfast is the inportant part of the day. Without breakfast, i would go crazyyy.. hahahha.. & of course i need my jtt to make me full till lunch 🤗

The most typical foods in Estonia have been rye bread, pork, potatoes and dairy products. Estonian eating habits have historically been closely linked to the seasons. In terms of staples, Estonia belongs firmly to the beer, vodka, rye bread and pork "belt" of Europe.
I grew up eating so many potatoes that moving to the States I stopped eating them for a while all together. My grandma had three gardens we grew most of our produce and we canned everything for winter season. My grandparents also raised their own chickens and pigs😀 it was fun to dig up worms for the chicken when I was little 😀
