What are you once thought or still think it’s good for you?
🍇Fruit and Vegetable Juices. Don't let the words "fruit" and "vegetable" on juice labels fool you! Fruit juices, including ones made from 100% fruit juice, are high in calories and sugar. And while vegetable juices are a good way to get more vegetables into your diet, the process of juicing strips the fiber from whole vegetables.
🍫Granola Bars. Made with rolled oats, dried fruit, and nuts, granola bars may seem like healthy on-the-go snacks. But if you don't read the labels carefully, some bars are packed with so much sugar that they're not so much different from eating a candy bar.
🍞Foods Labeled "Made with Whole Grain”. Many times, these foods are not made with 100% whole grains and have refined grains in the mix, so you're not getting the full nutritional benefit of whole grains.
🥤Premade Smoothies. Most premade smoothies are made with canned fruit with added sugars, simple syrups, full-fat yogurt, whole milk, and sometimes even ice cream or frozen yogurt
🍧Frozen Yogurt. Frozen yogurt may seem like a healthier alternative to ice cream or gelato, and it's lower in saturated fat in most cases, but in terms of calories and sugar, they're all not much different than you think.
🍛Frozen Diet Entrées. While frozen diet entrées are low in calories, they tend to be high in sodium. Moreover, they are made with refined grains and ingredients, which can cause swings in blood-sugar levels
🥧Gluten-Free Sweets and Snacks. While there are plenty of healthy gluten-free foods out there, some gluten-free snacks and sweets are loaded with sugar and fat to make up for the flavor
🍬Trail Mix. Generally made with nuts, honey, dried fruits, and candies. A serving of trail mix contains the same amount of calorie as candy bars.

The Lies We Believe...
Your brain is much like the tape decks of the old days. It can both record and playback, and it has access to a personal library of thousands of recordings ready to play
at a moment's notice. .
These are recordings which hold all the beliefs, attitudes, and expectations that you have "recorded" during your life.
Some of the recordings inside your brain are truthful,such as "You can't please everybody all the time" or "Life is rough." .
Some of these recordings are lies, such as "I'm only as good as what I do" or "Life should be fair" or "Things have to go my way for me to be happy."
Many of your lie recordings have been around a long time, some even since childhood.
You have listened to these recordings for so long that they feel true even though they are really lies. The longer a recording has been played, the more rigidly you believe it to be true.
Many lie recordings play in your mind without your even knowing it. They play unconsciously when life presses the play button. .
Unconscious or not, these recordings dramatically affect your feelings and actions each day. Ignorance is not bliss when it comes to these recordings.
Unless they are made conscious, you are at their mercy.
Your emotional life hangs in the balance....
It directly reflects whether your mind is dominated by lies or truth. If your mind has more lies than truth playing through it,
you'll tend to be more emotionally unhappy and troubled. .
If, on the other hand, your mind is an equal mixture of both lies and truth, you will experience more of an up-and-down emotional experience. .
The primary challenge is to make our mental recordings as truthful as we can so that we will be able to handle successfully whatever circumstances come our way.
Lies produce emotional misery.
Truth produces emotional healing.

3 Reasons You’re Snacking Bad 🤢
🥦 You’re neglecting greens. Eating greens, aka broccoli peppers spinach carrots tomatoes salad, THROUGHOUT the day, not just a salad at lunch, can drastically increase your satiety, or how full you are. Your body will be satisfied because you’re feeding it the right nutrients, and it will not crave sweets or sugars.
🍔 You’re not eating enough. Take it with some context, and obviously doesn’t mean to go eat whatever whenever, but eating a half ass breakfast and one snack then salad and chicken at lunch and eating again at 8pm some carry out, think about how your metabolism is responding to that. Be consistent with your eating, aim to fuel your metabolism and body with correct nutrients rather than deprive it from calories, and watch how you look and feel.
😴 You need to get more sleep. Plain and simple. There a million “hacks” out there for this, and I won’t go into them all, but 99.9% of the time people KNOW what to do, it’s just a matter of doing it. Make it a priority in your life. Just like you accomplish other difficult things throughout your day, make this post the reason you take some fucking action. Enough bullshitting.

to a little over 3 years ago when Lena was 7 months old but I was still wearing maternity pants 🙈 as nothing fit. I started buying bigger clothes and accepting an unhappy and unhealthy version of myself before children. I was tired.all.the.time and no longer comfortable with the way I looked. I rarely let anyone take my picture as I was ashamed of what I looked like. I finally got tired of being tired and unhappy with the way I looked and tried something new. I am now wearing a size 2 pants, but most importantly I have my healthy, confidence and energy back so I can be the best mom and wife to my family 💕. On a split screen we have Shirley and Janet. Both are determined to forbid consumption of so called junk food in an attempt to lose fat. Out with the food seen in this graphic, both consume exactly the same meals on Wednesday 19th September 2018. -
Earlier at the office. Shirley is coasting and decides it’s time for her afternoon snack. She consumes the portions of almonds and dried mango in belief that she has made a positive choice for her goal - which she very well may have done. Shirley is content. She floats around the office for the remainder of the day and returns home via fairy carriage. -
Meanwhile, Janet is having a similar afternoon at work. But without thought, she decides to consume 2 party ring biscuits (because it’s a colleagues birthday). She realizes her ‘mistake’. She’s angry with herself. She consumes two more because she’s already broken her anti-junk food promise. -
Janet is irritated by her carelessness (and desire for party rings). On her way home she stops at traffic lights - only to see a McDonald’s in the distance. Full of self loathing, Janet decides to punish herself by going to McDonald’s. She orders a Big Mac and consumes it. In her mind she has now well and truly ruined her diet. So much so that she decides to purchase an additional kit kat chunky thereafter. Janet consumes it amid feelings of failure and disgust. -
The thing is. If a reputable nutrition coach watched the split screen of Shirley and Janet today, they would have witnessed both women consuming 807 calories from the foods above. Yet one woman believed she had succeeded by consuming a ‘good snack’, whilst the other was in despair because they had a ‘bad day’. -
Whilst consumption of nutrients is good for long term health, calorie balance directly determines body composition. Therefore calorie awareness is crucial. If we isolate consumption of these specific foods, despite the contrasting emotions, Shirley and Janet made exactly the same fat loss progress today 🙂. -
