Welp, make room cuz I made it to the bench!!!! . I WISH someone had emphasized how badly this hurt. I cannot tell you how much buyers remorse I had yesterday morning. Up till 4am today I have been puking blood non stop, half the hospital has seen me naked, and it hurts to breath. I just keep reminding myself, 2 weeks from know this will be in the past. . Last fall I was over 200lbs!! I never thought I would see those numbers outside of pregnancy but there they were. I was making feeble attempts to eat healthy but my old strategies were not working...obviously. My weight yo-yo’d for 5 years inbeteeen 3 pregnancies that all involved extreme morning sickness my relationship with food was pretty jacked! During pregnancy to keep my weight up (due to all the throwing up) I was encouraged to eat whatever I could. Most of those involved carbs and sweets. When I would deliver my baby these habits didn’t change. After my third child I slowly watched the weight go up and I knew something had to change. I had done this program once before and lost 20 pounds but it all came back and then some because I never addressed my unhealthy habits. 🤦🏽‍♀️ I started again right before Thanksgiving and by February 1, I was down 30 pounds!! Since then I have not only been able to maintain that weight loss but I dropped another 10lbs to get to my healthiest weight. I have changed my habits, I’ve change my relationship with food and I have equipped myself with tools and accountability that have allowed me to maintain a healthy lifestyle. I decided to become a health coach because I wanted to share this amazing program with others and I needed accountability for myself (the extra cash has been helpful too)!! my recent trip to Hawaii was my target goal since I started this program. I made it there and feel absolutely amazing. I still plan to work on strengthening my body to get to the healthiest and strongest me and am grateful that I have the tools to get there. It’s been an amazing 11 months. I’m coming up on a year and I can’t help but reflect on how far I’ve come. I keep looking back at pics and posts and seeing my physical, mental, and emotional transformation over the past year amazes me. It’s not even about the 92 pounds I’ve lost so far. It’s about the life I’ve gained that just keeps getting better and better. I’m really glad I never gave up on myself. I came close a few times, but I used the little bit of strength I had to fight. Some days all I could do was get out of bed, but it was enough to get me to where I am now. I don’t know where you are in life. Maybe you’re in the place where all you can do is get out of bed. Maybe you can’t even get that far. But if you can hang on... just hang on.
It sometimes twists my brain that I lived in and loved wearing men’s XXXL tops. I would scout men’s departments for the perfect oversized flannels, sweatshirts, sweaters, button downs etc... I felt completely comfortable in oversized wear. Now, you can hardly get me near anything that remotely resembles men’s wear. I didn’t realize it then, but I was hiding in plain sight. If you find yourself doing the same, take the next step towards loving the skin you are in. No matter what size you wear, dress yourself as if you love your body. To be real with you I had a crazy busy weekend that included too much beer/junk food. My anxiety yesterday was in full force because I didn’t get anything done I needed to (meal prep, laundry, side business work, house cleaning) & I just wasn’t feeling like myself. This tends to make me feel anxious & I shut down. Aka skipped my workout & sulked eating Mac and cheese (like almost the entire box). Anxiety and stress won yesterday. But one day or even one weekend won’t ruin all your progress unless you choose to let it carry on into your weeks ahead. ____________________ Anxiety may have won yesterday, but today I took back control. That’s a non scale victory if you ask me.💕

FIBRE 🌽🥦🍚 complex carbs help with digestion and foods high in fibre are more voluminous so you get more bang for your buck (and your tum is settled longer). . Hopefully this smoothie will help me wake up. I am physically and mentally tired. I feel like that commercial where the person has a key in their back that you have to keep turning to keep them going lol. This one is chocked full of goodness. What's 1 day worth? - What do you value? Is it time, money, life, love, or happiness? If you had to choose between yourself and food which would you pick? Seems obvious we would all choose ourselves. But would you really? Everyday you make a life and death decision. You choose how to fuel your body whether that be with clean food or junk food. Those decisions will continue to affect you as you age leading to heart disease, high blood pressure, and even death simply due to being obese. People always ask me why I'm so "extremely healthy"? Why I care so much? I've been on the edge of death wishing to be pushed off but chose to make a decision. I chose to change. I decided I wanted to live and correct as much damage as possible. That's why I'm so "extreme" and why I want to help others realize that they can decide as well. - Get up everyday and choose go live. You wont regret it.
This is not a transformation post. It's just the question of flattering and less flattering perspective. The weight is absolutely the same. Just like these pictures my own perception of myself changes daily. Some days I feel super skinny and fit, others I look in the mirror and wonder where that ogre came from and how it got into my third floor apartment. Some days I get called hot, others I get called disgusting. It depends on a lot of things I guess. The thing is... Some time ago I would have given my everything to not be the person on the left anymore. I would cry seeing a picture like that, feeling disgusting and ugly and worthless. It took a lot to learn how to love them but I'm slowly getting to the point where I do. I'm not an ugly duckling that will rise to beauty once it lost enough weight. I'm beautiful now, rolls and everything. And so are all of you. If you've been following me for a while, you'll know that I'm a fan of bulletproof coffee. However, having cut out caffeine, I decided to try bone broth. I like it, but it's not as tasty as the coffee. 😅 But, it does keep me full, energized, focused, and helps me with recovery which is more important. Another big thing I've noticed is that it helps me cut down on cravings; I have very little cravings for carbs or sugar. So, if you're dragging today, give some bulletproof coffee or bone broth a try!

New accomplishment yesterday....first day at the gym I was doing 20 mins and could only go .83 not even a full mile. Now I’m hitting a mile in 12 mins! Full workout was 30 mins and finished it at 2.67 miles. I diet by using intermittent fasting so this hasn't affected me however all I have been hearing across social media the past few days is how @slimmingworld have changed the syn value in fat free yogurts especially Müller lights (used to be free and now are 1 syn) and it's made me wonder out of the 900k+ members who use Slimming World I wonder how many buy Müller light yogurts and who will stop buying them from now on?
