So I broke my hand and I have to wear this awesome black cast for the next 4 weeks (minimum) which means no pool/ lake days for pretty much the rest of this Oregon summer. then I decided to chop 6 inches off my hair because why not? I love my short hair even though Society says girls with short hair are less attractive. I haven't weighed myself in 2 weeks or hit my daily calorie burn goal in a week and I know I've probably gained weight. My birthday is in less than a month and I have absolutely no plans yet and kinda feel like I've let myself down because I'm not in the best shape up of the year which is always my birthday goal but I'm trying to just accept this period of rest because my motivation just isn't there. 1 day at a time I guess.

Recipe for the egg loaf courtesy of @keto.sam.iam
! Mix all of the following using blender or mixer: 8 eggs, 8 oz of softened cream cheese, 8tbsp softened butter, and then sweetener, cinnamon, and vanilla all to taste. Bake in greased or parchment paper lined baking dish at 350 for approx. 30 mins. Once it was baked, I let it cool a bit, sliced, then pan fried in butter. If you want to make a smaller or larger portion, remember the ratio is 1 egg to 1oz of cream cheese to 1tbsp of butter. Sweetener, cinnamon, and vanilla are all to taste.

If you're just starting out on your weight loss journey, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD TAKE PHOTOS. I have zero pics like this at my heaviest (about 20lb more than the one on the left), and really wish I had taken some. I know it's shit seeing pics of yourself wearing not much at all and hating how you look, but it's so motivating to see how you change along the way. I've still got about 30lb to lose and I'm really not a fan of the loose skin on my stomach and thighs, but I'm proud of my progress 🙌

I thought hard about posting this note and decided I would. To remind myself that my weight has, today, stopped me from getting to the top. That my breath and joints couldn’t take it. It’s not a whinge, a whine or a negative moan. But a fact. Reality. Biting. Bloody hard...
You see, it’s so easy to read features encouraging you to lose weight to look good in a bikini. But there’s a much bigger reason. Health. I want to climb mountains, go paddle boarding, surfing, cycling and lots of other things with my active six year old. I don’t want to wait halfway up the feckin’ mountain...
So I’m soaking in the views and mopping up the reality. Better to acknowledge the truth face on and ask yourself what the fuck you’re going to do about it. Because down here waving up to the dots on the top of the mountain. I’ve finally found my why. A gut wrenching, right from the core, why. And although I might sound a bit blue and down. I’m not. It’s actually positive. Because all these little moments weaken binge eating, make you work harder and aid recovery...
So here’s to health and fitness and reminding myself, in writing, that there is nothing more important.

Too often we can look at what we see on Facebook and end up using it as comparison to our own lives.
Today, I'm looking at these pictures as inspiration!! Tomorrow, my friends and I are starting an 8 week program to continue to work on our health and fitness. I always get a bit nervous before starting a new program. "Can I stick to it?" "Am I strong enough?" "Can I even do this?" and so on. With all of those thoughts I have learned to stop, let them go and just go for it knowing that no matter what I will feel better in the end.
Looking at these pictures of these badass women who not only completed this program gives me motivation. If they can do it in their crazy busy lives then so can I!!! I chose this program for this season of my life because unlike other ones I have done the time commitment for it fits better into my life right now. With 4 days of workouts and 3 rest days I can better fit it in, especially with workouts only being 30-40 minutes long. The nutrition plan is easy to follow and I am excited to do that along with what I have learned with the 2B mindset. Plus there is cheat day and let's be honest we all need that in our lives because well... #balance
Here is the the thing. YOU CAN DO IT TOO!! It is possible and it becomes even more possible when you are not doing it alone. A két véglet: alacsony kalóriabevitel, lelassult anyagcsere, leépülő izomzat, 0 fejlődés..vs. túlzott kalóriabevitel, főként egyszerű cukrokból és gyorsan felszívódó szénhidrátokból álló étkezés megspékelve a "rossz" zsírokkal..
Na és az arany középút: napi 5-6 étkezés, sport, megfelelő folyadékbevitel. Igazából énis megcsúsztam a kaja témán, most emeltem a szénhidrát és fehérjefogyasztáson is, a testetek úgyis jelez! :) Tényleg nem jó, ha túl kevés táplalékot visztek be.
