Full water bottle, papers piling up at work, must be lunch time! Lunch this week is Paleo Chicken Lo Mein, recipe by @wholesomelicious and it’s been giving me life! I never really cook with bok choy, but half the fun of eating Real Food is trying new food. I stuck pretty much to the recipe except I used sweet potato noodles instead of butternut squash because that’s what I had on hand, and I topped it with a bit of sesame seeds for an added crunch. Add this to your next week of meal prep! You won’t regret it! 👏👏👏

Girlfriends still got it! 🙌🏼🎉💪🏼 I’ve been sharing on my insta stories about how I started incorporating running into my workout routine again this week. Now that the weather is getting better, there’s nothing I wanna do more than get outside and if I can get a good sweat while getting some sun I’m a happy camper! But let’s be real... I haven’t run consistently since last September sooo I had no idea what to expect. Last September I ran a half marathon and to be honest, I thought 1 mile was gonna be a struggle this week. Buuuuuuuut I’m actually running at the SAME pace now as I was when I was in tip top shape for the Crim— 👏🏼 I specifically remember running 5 miles in 1 hour 1 week prior to the Crim. I know today was only 4 miles and I’ve got to build that long distance endurance back up again, but I’m pretty freakin PROUD I don’t have to start all over from square 1. ... annnnnnnd I have those AWESOME, convenient, and effective basement workouts to thank for that! 🙏🏼 I looooove that I can get a quick 30 min sweat in where it’s warm and cozy all winter long and those workouts actually WORK! And that I don’t have to miss a beat now that the running weather is upon us again. And guys don’t forget—— I started from the BOTTOM just over 2 years ago. I was 50 lbs overweight, miserable, and climbing a flight of stairs made me sweat. But I said BYE 👋🏼 FELICIA to that life and started with very beginner friendly at home workouts... And a year later I was running a half marathon. You CAN be where you wanna be but whether you get there or not is 100% up to you! Don’t think you’re a “lost cause” or just keep beating yourself up for letting yourself go— you are ALWAYS in control. ALWAYS able to improve yourself. ALWAYS capable of upgrading your life. I am living breathing proof that it just takes heart and desire; consistency and persistence. My eating has been a struggle this week but I’ll get back on track tomorrow. I substituted asparagus for rice in this bang bang chicken and shrimp dish for lunch so at least I am still making some good decisions!

#throwbackthursday : January 1st to today 🤗. It took me awhile to Keep the Faith (🎸cue Bon Jovi!) - i didn’t see changes, the scale wasn’t budging, and although i was working hard, my body resisted me, or so i thought. You see, changes happen in sort of stages. You lose, then it seems like you torture yourself with exercise and diet and nothing changes. Then something “clicks” and it starts up again. And each body does it at its own pace. So if you’re #postpartum like me, and frustrated, please know it DOES happen. When i saw other ladies who had babies making progress faster than me, I’d think “yeah sure I’ll get there too. Whatever you say lady 🙄”. But it really is TRUE! You’ll ONLY fail if you give up. Eventually each good day, each workout adds up. I’m getting there, and I’m not giving up! Summers coming y’all! Elas melhoraram sozinhas, somente com alimentação saudável e atividade física!!! (Cortei doce, refrigerante, comi coisas naturais, esqueci industrializados, bebi bastante água, melhorou muuuuito!!!!!) 2) FLACIDEZ NAS PERNAS: Tive e tenho ainda um pouco de flacidez na parte interna da coxa, agora estou fazendo um tratamento estético chamado flaci10 com a @c.micelli que está me ajudando e muito nisso! 3) BARRIGA: Nunca fiz n a d a!!!! Graças a Deus e a minha idade ela voltou para seu devido lugar com a alimentação saudável e malhando muuuuitoooo!!!! Muito abdominal e aeróbico! . Hi all! I’m Casey and I’ve lost over 55kgs. I weighed my heaviest in high school and I was bullied and mocked to a point of feeling worthless. Being told I wasn’t good enough and that I was worthless made me feel as though all of the hateful things people said were true. I hated myself enough to make the change and I did! I am now a happier and more confident person but mainly a lot healthier. So many dreams I had that I thought would never come true - have come true and it’s all because I never stopped believing in myself! My biggest reward is being able to help others! I believe that it’s a long and tough road but at the end of the day it is worth it. My body is not perfect and I am in no way done as yet ... I got on a high dose of blood pressure meds, started TRYING to eat better, & doing as much juicing like the guy in "Fat, Sick, & Nearly Dead" while driving over the road.
