I've been surprised by how quickly I've noticed an increase in energy since beginning my fitness journey. Not only do I feel more energized, but I've noticed that my mood has become dramatically more positive. Though I do still deal with the depressive and anxiety-based thoughts, I've found that I'm happier overall. I can definitely attitbute that to the healthy lifestyle changes! Today I meal-prepped for the week, did laundry, cleaned my entire apartment and even color-coded my closet! Remember, y’all, just because something is labeled organic / vegan / gluten-free / dairy-free doesn’t necessarily mean that it is a healthier option ➡️ ALWAYS check the ingredients!! I also recommend opting for whole food alternatives whenever you can for a bigger nutritional punch. 💥
If you don’t have a spiralizer, its no problem. 🙌🏻 Most grocery stories sell ZOOLES that are ready to cook so all you have to do is take them home and sauté in a little olive oil or coconut oil until they got all soft and noodle-y. 😋

It is earned from failures. So many people are afraid of the word 'failure' and the negative connotation that it has. I was one of those people.
Til I realized that if I never failed anything in my life, I was too fucking comfortable.
Being comfortable is not a good thing. It is actually laziness because I know that I will never grow, learn anything new or succeed in anything if I remain comfortable.
While it is the EASY way to go through life, that's all you ever experience is something easy, something that never changes, something that is predictable, something that leads you on the neverending hamster wheel of life.
Every person out there has a GIFT. My gift is different than your gift and your mom's gift. Imagine where we would be in society if every person was living up to their full potential, sharing their gifts and positivity with the world!
How much more advanced we would be.
How much more happier we would be.
How much more fun this place would be.
While a lot of people think 'oh what can little ole lonely me do, I can't change a damn thing, so I just won't...' I know in my heart that what I do matters.

1 1/4 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 2 large), cut into bite-sized pieces
2 tbsp cornstarch
1/4 tsps salt & pepper
1 1/2 tbsp canola oil
3 medium red bell peppers, seeded & cut into bite-sized pieces
1 large head of broccoli, cut into florets (about 4 cups)
1 bunch green onions (about 6 medium), thinly sliced
2/3 cup dry roasted, unsalted cashews
Cooked brown rice or quinoa, for serving
1/4 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
3 tbsp seasoned rice vinegar
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp freshly grated ginger
2 cloves garlic, minced (about 2 tsp)
1/4–1/2 tsp red pepper flakes

So excited...and today was a double workout.
In the AM.....was biceps and back. I pushed my weights up and am still feeling it tonight.
After work, I went to the park and jogged/walked 3.2 miles. It was 15 degrees cooler this week, so that was a nice treat. .
Yes....I hate running, but I will still do it, because I can!
It took me a LONG time to feel comfortable in my skin.
Growing up, many of us have been teased, bullied, and picked on for the way we look, things we wear and just about anything and everything!!
Soooo, as humans, we’ve spent a lot of time learning how to hide our imperfections and insecurities 🤷🏼♀️
In high school, to make up for the lack of confidence I had, I turned towards clothing, make-up, accessories and other materialistic things.
And as HS went on, I found myself hiding behind more and more layers of make-up and baggy clothes. These layers became my shield.
Who else can relate??
The ONLY reason I ever got to that point of feeling even slightly comfortable in my body was because of my fitness journey, which is why fitness and coaching is SO important to me.
So over the last couple of years, it’s been my mission to help others feel comfortable in THEIR own skin! 🤟🏼
I didn’t become a coach JUST to help women lose weight. I became a coach because I want to help them TRANSFORM, both mentally and physically.

-Carrot cake cookie form Starbucks in HS Oh guys, this is so yummy, sweet, filling & special. The cake is amazing & the cream cheese filling is the perfect combo.
-Peanut butter cookie from the Main Street bakery! This is an underrated & lesser known snack. Slightly salty chunks of peanut butter in a really big cookie..it’s actually Delicious! It’s the perfect combo to sweet & savoury & is a super filling snack.

It still shocks me to see pics like this of myself.. and they’re less than 5 months apart. THANK GOD I never gave up. I did it, even on days I didn’t feel like it. When I slipped up, I gave myself grace and was better the next day. And here I am, still pushing to be the best version of myself.

Session with my trainer and then some cardio. My heart rate monitor clocked me burning over 1,000 calories.
Gonna finish it off with the sauna.
When you go and eat cake with this doll and then do your workout... things kinda go sideways. That was hard!!🤢 I wouldn't expect less. I treated myself without guilt, but it reminds me why I don't do it often. My stomach hurts from all that sugar. My workout was hard from being in a chocolate/cocanut coma. BUT I will celebrate those dimples over cake again sometime!😍
We’re being VULNERABLE AF right now. Like I don’t drink but I feel like I need to take a shot of something before posting this. 🤷🏻♀️
So here is what I know. I know I’ve never stuck to a program as long as I have stuck to Beachbody and I know I’ve never been committed to a healthy lifestyle before Beachbody. My philosophy was always to eat healthy until (insert goal). .
I’m sure you can relate. I’ll just do these wraps until my waist is “x” inches. I’ll just do these pills for a jump start. I’ll just do a juice fast to drop ten pounds... I’ll just (fill in the blank).
The common thread with all of that? Nothing is long term. It’s not lifelong. And it’s def not sustainable. It’s a quick fix, for your pleasure.
Pleasure and happiness is a momentary feeling that comes from something external; while joy is an attitude of the heart.
It’s taking a picture of the body on the left back in October and finding joy in knowing I’m taking action to make it better. The same joy in taking the picture on the right and seeing the changes I’ve worked so hard for over the last ten months!
So, would you rather have short term wins to just gain the weight back, or take it low and slow (like your favorite slow cooker recipe) and find joy in the journey, and joy in the internal and external transformation?

Well...I'm here to tell you, it's ok to do things by yourself. To me this is my therapy, which is cheaper than sitting on a couch telling someone my issues.
And I am no longer that girl who shyly sits in the corner....I am like a social butterfly...
That never used to be me.
Here's to blossoming and finding who you are, no matter what season of life your in.
PS....anybody can wine and paint. I dont have an artistic painting bone in my body, but I follow direction well.

It’s been a while since I post a before and after. Mostly because since May I haven’t been consistent at all!!!
