1 more week until my next body scan ๐Ÿ˜Ž Over the last 7 weeks I have seen some fantastic changes in my body. My main goal was to see abs. And today, I can see them ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝ I am so unbelievably happy I canโ€™t even begin to tell you. But now that I can see them, I want to keep them. And now that I can see them, I want to strengthen them. So coming off this challenge, my next goal is to improve my core strength. I never in a million years thought that I would be able to keep up with the food plan set out for me. I have THE biggest sweet tooth in the world, like my willpower when I see chocolate and ice cream (especially Nutella) is like negative 1 million.ย I was told that willpower is a muscle you need to exercise I was like, um yeah good thanks ok, but you know what.. those cliche speaking idiots are fucking right URGH seriously.. if they were me Iโ€™d tell me โ€œI told you soโ€ it is legit one of my most favourite things to say to someone in the world! Michelle lookin up at her goals like.. Iโ€™m comin for ya! ๐Ÿฆ In just 2.5 months since Sept, this bubbly mom of two has dropped over 6% BODY FAT and almost 5 POUNDS. This is with a two-week vacation plus sick days throw in. She comes to every session ready to give it her 110%. Made significant strength gains as well, way beyond her expectations. She never thought she could lift 50 lbs but... she just did that last session! Convenient fast food was swapped out for homemade salads and nutrient rich meals. Jogging to sprinting. My heaviest weight being 290lbs and now 220lbs. But my most greatest accomplishment is my yellow belt! I'm out here being just as physical as people almost half my weight! . Back to gym after 5 weeks (yes 5 weeks....) . I have lost most of my strengths basically. It is actually quite surprising how fast you can lose in a month. But the good thing now is: I can finally focus on weight training without worrying about my long run performance, so hopefully getting back my strength sooon ๐Ÿ™ƒ . Focus on using JUST your lats to pull the weight down. Donโ€™t lean so far back โ–ถ๏ธbring the bar to about your mid-upper chest โ–ถ๏ธSQUEEZE your lats at the bottom of the movement (which you can see in my last rep) โ–ถ๏ธif you find yourself needing to use your body to bring the weight down, LOWER YOUR WEIGHT (&ego). Doing heavy weight doesnโ€™t matter if your form sucks โ–ถ๏ธmake sure you get the full stretch! Donโ€™t cut it short . . Hopefully those tips will help!
