Happy Sunday! I know I'm late on brunch too, but this is the first and last meal I've eaten all day. This morning I tried a new work out class called cross burn which incorporated some kick boxing and cross fit work outs which I have never done before, and it was extremely hard. Luckily the instructor was very encouraging, but I am so exhausted now! After the workout I went to brunch and it took me about 30 minutes to decide what to order. The restaurant had calories included on the menu, and I started to look at the lower calorie items. Some of the lower calorie items had bacon, fried potatoes, and cheese, and this chia pudding bowl with almond butter toast with turkey sausage links on the side was a higher calorie item. I decided I would get a skillet with eggs and potatoes and veggies and bacon and cheese, but then I listened to my body. Even though that may be lower in calories, cheese and bacon and potatoes would make my stomach hurt! So I changed my mind and did not regret it! When I eat out, I try to stay away from the oily foods. I cook at home with these items but I have lightened versions and I eat smaller portions. I listened to what my body needed, and picked the higher calorie meal. I have to remember that higher calories doesn't necessarily mean higher smart points, and after this meal I felt great and energized! I have been in maintenance mode for a few months now and my journey has not stopped there and I still learn new things about what works for me everyday. It was my first time eating chia pudding I would love to try it again and learn to make my own! - L

- snack! This isn’t really a snack, but it was my dinner! The word snack for me is so associated with unhealthy choices. I do eat between meals, but it’s usually just a fruit, so I call that: a fruit 😂 but speaking of unhealthy things, I was craving pizza SO bad today, so I weight watched my diet and lowered my lunch sp, that way I could afford some homemade pizza with goat cheese, mushrooms, turkey ham and low fat cheese 😍 all with 3 sp left for the day. I love love love #weightwatchers
, because it allows me to splurge without seeing it as cheating and thereby avoiding going on a binge 💪🏻 Any tips on more healthy unhealthy foods? 😍

Phase 1 completed:
In May I started weight watchers again since being a lifetime member in 2004. I was the heaviest I’ve ever been and being older that’s not good.
Today I hit for me my first major goal. I still have a long way to go, because now I’m where I started in 2004. But I’m in a happier place. I have been not perfect, but very disciplined in my eating behaviors. I journal everyday, even the cheat days. I make sure to hold my self accountable and drive to become a healthy person.
Today I’m sharing a start weight pic, please ignore that I’m in weird opera gear. And today after my weight in. I’m also today sharing my start weight, current and goal weight. I planned to do this when this stage was complete.
Today I was under 300 pounds which for me was the first goal.
Second goal is under 250.
Goal weight is 200-220. Depending on which way I want to lose. If be more cardio driven like last time, or more muscle definition, but not a meathead, lol.
In 2004 my lowest weight was 183, I hadn’t weighed that since I was 11. I’m not planning that this time. I’m ok with that.
So yeah. As in everything I’ve been doing. Mentally,physically, spiritually and financially I’m going to succeed.
