I was a sweaty red hot mess but I survived today’s workout!! It was a killer but one of those ones that I found really suited me and what I like to do. .
My thoughts and Something I learnt today is I can do this like 100% I can do this. .
I always feel like I’m struggling and everyone else is ripping through it. Like I’m flogging my way through it and everyone else it’s like skipping through a field of daisies THIS IS NOT THE CASE. .
It is hard for everyone in their own way. We had a chat during stretching and what one person found hardest I found easiest so lesson of the day - do not compare yourself to anyone else! .

Are you an "Empath?"
Do you feel exhausted after being in crowds or being around certain people? Do you have a sensitivity to light, sound, and smells? Being empathetic is when your heart goes out to someone else. Being an empath means you can actually feel another persons happiness or sadness in your own body. In impasse, the brains mirror neuron system is specialized group of cells that are responsible for compassion, is that to be hyperactive. As a result, and pass can absorb other peoples energy quotation both positive and negative quotation into their own bodies. At times it may even be difficult to tell if you are feeling your own emotions or someone else's. There are different types of sensitivities an empath may experience. Physical empath, for example, are especially attuned to other people's physical symptoms and absorb them into their own bodies. Emotional and pass pick up on people's emotions and become a sponge for their feelings, both happy and sad. Being an empath has incredible benefits such as greater intuition, compassion, creativity and a deeper connection to other people. But living in this state of high sensitivity also comes with its challenges such as becoming easily overwhelmed, overstimulated, exhausted, or absorbing the stress and negativity of others. Empath are the medicine the world needs and they can have a profound impact on humanity with their compassion and understanding. As you learn to identify your special talents, you will find that you not only in richer life but you can enrich the lives of others too. Make drinking a large glass of water first thing part of your morning routine. After around 8 hours of no fluid intake overnight our bodies are very dehydrated. Coffee is a diuretic and will further dehydrate you. Plenty of water first thing is important - herbal tea is also good, but avoid sugary fruit juices.

My babies always cheer me up when I’m feeling icky 😻.
I finally got a hold of my doctor and we came to a conclusion that I am having a reaction to my Cymbalta. So I am going to discontinue it and hopefully get on an antidepressant.
Usually I can beat the pain 💪, but this last week has pushed me to a limit 🤢🤕. Hoping for a better tomorrow, I have to go back to work, wish me luck!
Yes, I am posting a humiliating gym video of myself... doing squats -- looking totally fat and not at all sexy... Ugh those thighs... I gained 10lbs after weaning Nika this winter -- and it's time to kill that belly fat! I'm so grateful for the support of Nancy Ferreira who is hosting our Functional Nutrition class at SHASTYE once a month! Thank you for the inspiration @lani_neumann , @iamevasantiago , @blakelively , @susikgreat ! Your dedication to health and fitness has helped me get movin'! My fitness plan includes lots of butter, veggies, 0% refined sugar or processed grains (#singlegirlcookies the next time I indulge, it will most definitely be with you!) and 20 minutes minimum in the gym using the Slow Burn Method 2-3 times a week. Years ago when I was a nanny, my boss Kevin Bacon once told me that the Slow Burn Method was his secret to keeping fit -- and I've had tremendous success with it ever since. Do you see how slooooowly I'm squatting? It's only with 10lbs. and I'm thighs are on fire! I try to do this with every exercise I do. Also, I don't do cardio unless I need to warm up my muscles or if I'm stressed. Cardio actually makes you crave carbs which can cause you to gain weight. Lifting weights keeps burning your fat hours after you've left the gym. Don't believe me? See you in four weeks and I'll share the results!
