I challenge you to test this theory today. Take a long, deep breath. Rebalance. And prepare yourself mentally for a day of ultimate kindness.
No matter what someone says or does, no matter if someone cuts you off in traffic or sneaks in front of you in a queue, respond with a calm, assuring smile. No smugness, no suppressed aggression, and no ill-thought.
Imagine that they could be rushing to get medicine to a sick child, or they could be grieving for a loved one and have lost all sense of hope and happiness.
You’ll discover that some of the hostility that sometimes reaches you, may have started in your own response to or annoyance at an event. You’ll also discover that your day is more enjoyable and fulfilling. While practicing kindness to others, you give YOURSELF the ultimate gift of a calm, happy, and meaningful day, free of stress.
WARNING ⚠️This is not easy and I don’t pretend it is. When you slip up, don’t be frustrated at yourself OR what you perceive to be the cause. Just take interest, notice and acknowledge it without judgement, take a deep breath, and move on with a genuine smile. Be proud of your ability to stop and reassess!

The true is that seems quite easy for us all to worry and to be attached to the idea of how the world and everything around us should run, how others see us, the idea of ourselves in the world, the expectations of what could come out of a project we are working, or even the outcome of an action. It is not difficult to feed and to be attached to those ideas, concepts that are mostly based on ego, distorted ideas created by the human mind.
Moving into the space where we experience freedom of non-attachment and liberation within the mind, it is in fact a practice which needs dedication, for some perhaps a life practice and a journey filled with learnings.
But the journey is the journey, cannot be controlled and created based on expectations, for that reason it is the purpose of being present and keep what serves you in the moment that counts.
When we start doing things from pure love and not based on expectations and/or the ego, then there will be nothing to let go of. 🙏🏻

Uma decisão verdadeiramente tomada é aquela que leva em seguida à ação, à atitude. Muitas pessoas decidem coisas e não agem, o que significa que elas não decidiram de fato.
Decisão é a palavra-chave. Ela vai te impulsionar para ação, será o combustível para as atitudes corretas. A falta de decisão não deixa de ser uma decisão: significa não fazer nada a respeito daquilo para mudar! E também gera resultados – positivos ou não, só Deus sabe! Mas… Você quer mesmo ficar refém do acaso?
Assim é com o processo de perda de peso. A decisão verdadeira de emagrecer é o primeiro passo para um resultado satisfatório. Decidir significa querer e também em seguida agir em prol do que se quer.
Decida emagrecer e assuma o controle das suas ações
A partir do momento em que você decide verdadeiramente, você se sente com o controle, tem as rédeas na mão do seu processo de emagrecimento. A partir da decisão realmente tomada, você estabelecerá os padrões que guiarão suas ações, independente do que aconteça. Ou seja, se você decidiu de verdade emagrecer, você não cometerá exageros nos doces, não importa quantos bolos de aniversário lhe oferecerem, por exemplo.
Desculpas sempre haverão. Mas, lembre-se: ou você tem desculpas, ou tem atitudes. “Vou comer só hoje”, “Não consigo mesmo emagrecer” ou “Este bolo parece delicioso, não consigo resistir”, “Tive que comer” – e tantas outras frases – não passam de crenças limitadoras e pensamentos sabotadores que tomam conta de uma “mente não decidida verdadeiramente”.

At the best of times I never ate enough fruits or vegetables. I’d go through phases of jumping on a health buzz, overdoing the “good” food and the exercise, then falling off the “wagon” - repeating this cycle over and over again!
