💛 There really are few better moments than women uplifting fellow women, working together and collaborating to execute a vision 🌟
Its important to cultivate a true love for nature. Instagram seems to be inundated with people in nature and representation which seems to be in the realm of the spectacle. Many who i follow are the authentic and sincere, but i see so much out there which is insincere and shallow. Using nature only as an appartus to garner following and status.
We must cultivate a true love for the natural world because we are going to have to fight so hard to save it. Its easier to make those efforts when you know what is truly at stake. As we lose so much each day and we are in an era of human caused extinction. The cause for ecological justice is intertwined in the struggles for other justice, the opposition to capitalism, the desire for true decolonization and reconciliation. As fascism seems to be the latest growing trend i am deeply concerned about the emerging future.
But the future can be decided. We can always make meaningful change. Its best to know what you are fighting for. What you stand for and also what you oppose.
Stellar sunrise in the Pacific Northwest 🌅🌲✨
We traded a sunset for a sunrise yesterday and it was magical.
