Big furniture? No problem!
Last night at the Oregon Photographers of Oregon two great things happened for me: I was awarded my Associate Fellow of Photography (AFP) degree and received the Jerry Auker Community Service award for my work creating the annual Portrait Foodraiser! I am overjoyed at both accomplishments!
Sadly, I had too big of a day visiting the surgeon post op so I was unable to attend (but great news-benign mass/healing good news)

This time of year we have many recipes to choose from! How about this one?
Mix equal parts of:
Blend throughout the day and enjoy the results! A great recipe for success!
I have learned that the difference between success and failure is simply time, consistency and knowing ‘why’ I want what I want. This is true about anything in life, not just fitness and health.
Giving up is the #1
reason people fail at anything. I’ve done that. Have you?
So why did I give up? Did I just wake up and decide the goal was no longer important to me? NO!
I allowed my attention to drift away. I got impatient with my results. I struggled, lost confidence and in turn, gave up.
Personally, it was this time of year several years back, this Nana said “Enough of enough with giving up!” I decided making a commitment to my goals and successes was more important than some bumps in the road or the time it will take to get there.
So how about trying the above recipe?
What you are fighting to achieve? Have you thought about what you would like your 2019 to look and feel like?
Don’t give up on yourself. . . if you need some help getting started, message me and let me help you!
We joined the Preschool in the church this morning to enjoy some holiday music by members from the Oregon Symphony! Many classic holiday tunes played, special requests taken, and moments to sing along. We really enjoyed ourselves!
Many thanks to the Preschool for extending us an invitation to their event and to Trevor and Marilyn Fitzpatrick (PreK parents at the Preschool) for coordinating their co-workers for this very special event!
It's been a busy few days. Now on to 2 weeks of inspections! Luckily I have a lot of knitting to get done before Solstice.
Today I was able to snuggle with the sweetest one week old little boy, all 10+lbs of adorable chubbiness. Jackson looks just like his daddy, who I have known pretty much my whole life. Congratulations Julie & Curtis, he is perfect!!
Can you spot the snowflake? ❄️
HAPPY WEDNESDAY! It’s day 3 of 10 Days of Joy! We hope you got a paper leaf in your 3rd period to write something you are grateful for! Keep a look out for yours on the wreath across from porch 1b!
Have a great day WL! 🍃💛#10daysofjoy #wreath #westlinn #lionpride #gratitude
What are your kids doing over the holiday break?
Would they want to get creative and get their hands dirty? Improve hand-eye coordination, concentration skills and confidence while making art and new friends? Use their imagination in a lively, engaged and supportive environment?

End with a fresh start in mind!! What??? End 2018 already working on your fresh start of 2019 in mind!
I’ve been talking about this with my team members and can’t believe how much I’ve grown and changed over this past year. It’s called “self care”. I USED to think of a million excuses as to why I couldn’t do such and such.
I have learned to embrace the Nana in me no matter what and finish strong
I USED to let fear get in the way of my dreams – especially thinking that I was getting older
I have learned to believe in myself and be the best version of myself every day
I USED to think I didn’t know how to better myself and change my life
I have learned I DO have the power to change my life and have surrounded myself with like minded people on my team.
Self-care – it’s a mindset of success and what works best for each of us.
Perfection – No!
Progress – Yes! every day.
I am kind to myself with how I talk to myself about myself.
I have more energy, stay focused better, don’t have that midafternoon slump, and sleep better, just to name a few!
2019 is going to be a great year filled with more self-care. I’m ready!
How about you? Started thinking about your 2019 yet?
Come join me NOW and let’s make 2019 our best year together! YOU are worth it!
