Yul and director/writer Michael Crichton share some laughs on the set of Westworld. (1973) This was Crichton's directorial debut, a great movie! Scared me silly, when I first saw when I was 12. Before there was a Terminator, before Jurassic Park, there was Westworld. #yulbrynner #michaelcrichton #westworld

Since I was a child I've always loved a good story.
I believed that stories helped us to ennoble ourselves, to fix what was broken in us, and to help us become the people we dreamed of being
Lies that told a deeper truth.
I always thought I could play some small part in that grand tradition. And for my pains I got this .... a prison of our own sins. 'Cause you don't want to change.
Or cannot change.
Because you're only human, after all.
But then I realized someone was paying attention, someone who could change.
Take my heart when you go... #Westworld
🖤... Half way done.
[Day 28] of 30 day design challenge. Final portrait of The Man in Black from Westworld played by Ed Harris. As stunning as he is, I'm getting tired of looking at his face 😆. Its a shame that the resolution is so low on instagram, it makes it hard to see the details
“The Face-Off: Two magnificent Onaqui Mountain wild stallions face off prior to some dominance sparring. Wild stallions frequently battle for dominance—sometimes seriously where injuries can be sustained, but mostly it seems for fun, or for practice for the real deal. Most battles seem to be protective of the family unit, or when a lone stallion will try to lure a mare from another band. Then things get serious, as can be seen from the many scars these horses bear. Some of the markings on the darker horse are from the light-colored dirt picked up from rolling in the mud at the water hole. Spectacular sights such as this may be rare in the future as the Bureau of Land Management seems intent on rounding up these wild horses this fall so that the local ranchers can graze their cattle on the land where mustangs have roamed free and wild for hundreds of years.” 🐎📸 + text by Richard J.
