“You saw your son as a dropout
Stuck around when I ran
Saw your son as a felon
Now see your son as a man
See your son be a father, to a beautiful child
Or just see your son Dad, see me smile” - @machinegunkelly

Today’s offer was a 10.5 mile ride with my dad, Gary Scheer, with two bags of trash, and a fantastic breakfast at my usual Thursday spot in Connie's Diner.
It’s in moments like today that I’m thankful for where I am and the people who are around me supporting me and pushing me to do better.
This moment today coupled with a text message at midnight last night that said: “Hey I meant to send this text a few days ago but I’m currently listening to Mac Miller and his unfortunate death made me realize how lucky I am to still have you in my life, and how proud of you I am for fighting this battle every day. I love you so much send love to the family from me”
These two moments made my day so much better than I already planned for it to be.
You do these things that, no matter how I try to explain, will never truly grasp the evil that was in my intentions and heart at that time to moments like today where you realize that once a week you get a message or a hug telling you that your life matters and that people, in some cases people you don’t even know, tell you how you’ve impacted their life in a positive way.
For these reasons among a hundred more is why every person I cross paths with on daily basis I tell them, “good morning and I hope your day is amazing”
It costs exactly zero dollars to be a kind human being... here’s to a great day with good vibes... “My pops told me he’s proud of me I don’t think he knows what that meant to me.” - @nfrealmusic
