Minestrone soup, great eaten fresh or even the following day. I need an excuse to have hubby consume lots of garlic, not just for cancer fighting but also for boosting his immune system. . My kids enjoy this too. Though i have to drain the soup for my 3yo as he likes it just moist but nor swimming in liquid. 😂 . Sautee 2tbsp mince garlic and roughly chopped onion. Add cubed (3) potatoes, sliced (2) carrots and 4cups vegetable stock. Add 400gr diced tomatoes and 1 large tomato (blanched). Bring to boil then add 1 cup spiral pasta, 1 cup cauliflower, add 40pgr mixed beans and 1/2 cup frozen peas. Bring to boil and let simmer for 15min. Add 1 cup broccoli in the last minute (great crunch)🥕 . Nourishing vegetables soup, full of flavour and did you know that broccoli is great eaten raw? Eating it raw helps preserve irs nutritional contents. Add the cheese, salt and pepper, mix well and cook well on medium flame for 1 minute while stirring occasionally. Keep aside. Final steps 1. Heat oil in pan, add the garlic to it, sauté it for few seconds on medium flame. 2. Add the beetroot, mix well and cook on medium flame for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. 3. Add the cheesy white sauce, chilli flakes, rosemary, mix well and cook on medium flame for 1 minute, stirring occasionally. 4. Add the cooked rice and salt, mix well and cook on medium flame for 1-2 minutes, stirring occasionally. 5. Serve immediately.
Jak ktoś jeszcze nie wstał, to niech się budzi, bo marchewkowo-piernikowe pancakes to coś... w sumie po co pisać? Po prostu są pyszne... Zrobiłam je z jednej potartej marchewki wymieszanej z 1/4 łyżeczki przyprawy do piernika i 1/4 łyżeczki cynamonu. Następnie dodałam 3 łyżki mąki pełnoziarnistej i 5 łyżek mleka roślinnego, szczyptę proszku do pieczenia i ksylitolu. Do środka można dodać też odrobinę oleju żeby łatwiej się smażyło. I made them using one carrot mixed with 1/4 tsp of Cinnamon and 1/4 tsp of the gingerbread Spices mix. I added three tbsp of whole wheat flour and 5 tbsp of plant based milk, a pinch of baking powder and some sweetener. You can also add a bit of oil to make cooking easier. A whole food plant based diet is the best kept secret in the athletic world! 😆 Heart disease is the number 1 killer in the United States. Heart disease is caused when plaques form in your arteries and stop proper blood flow. Cholesterol and saturated promotes these plaques to form. Only animal products have cholesterol so when your doctor is telling you to get your cholesterol down they are saying you need to decrease your animal consumption. But they do not tell you that. They tell you to switch different animal products. 🤔 Our bodies makes all the cholesterol we need which means there is no need to eat dietary cholesterol. In fact our bodies are not meant to metabolize cholesterol efficiently.😶 Cardiologist have known for over 4 decades that if someone has a total cholesterol below 150 mg/dl and LDL below 80 mg/dl they cannot store cholesterol in the arteries. Yet the US recommendation is to have a total cholesterol of 200 and LDL of 100 which means we are walking talking ticking time bombs for heart disease. 😱 Why isn't this information being echoed into our society in an alarming rate? 4 years ago I decided to reduce animal consumption on my diet. My reason was not health related but because I think that doing small changes can bring big impact to our planet. We are not vegan or vegetarians, my kids are 70% plant based and i’m around 60% ( can someone tell @doritos to come with vegan version ) and I know that probably the chemicals I use to clean my house are more harmful that if I would eat lots of meat, however I needed to star with something. Something that would work for me, my family and would make me feel right. I believe in small changes to the right direction, and even tho I don’t think we will be 100% vegan, I know that I cannot back to who I was before. ( click on my bio to read more ) and now with all the great options coming to the market everyday and lots of people like Erin on my pic sharing delicious and easy recipes to make things are getting easier and easier.
